We called ahead to order a pizza for dine-in because of a 40-minute wait. We still ended up waiting over 20 minutes for our food and were charged a fee for ordering ahead. The gluten-free pizza was good, but the pan it was cooked in had a plastic PVC-looking bottom that was incredibly scratched. Yuk!
My first visit to St. Lou's was everything I hoped. We were seated quickly per our reservation, even asked for a little “condensation” fix due to the A/C...which was done with a smile...pizza is right up there with the best I've had in Chicago, if not the best, and we came from New Haven which of course is a different pizza animal of its own. Desert was top notch, service was friendly, fast and awesome, and they have a great beer selection. The only thing I would do differently...read full review
