This is the best Pepe's on the south side of Chicago, they cook authentic Mexican food and they don't skimp on your portions. I haven't been there in over 25 years and I happen to be in the area so I stopped for a burrito. Like I said it was gigantic and delicious. All the other Pepe's serve taco size burritos. This was a true burrito!!! I can't wait to be in the neighborhood again because I'm definitely going back!

I visited the restaurant and ordered 3 of the $1.50 Tuesday taco special. I ordered 3 beef tacos with no cheese and extra lettuce. I was charged $0.30 extra to have extra lettuce on all 3 tacos. I was also charged an additional $0.23 for using my debit card. The tacos were fresh and good . I would have given the review more stars and I didn’t because I was charged additional money.

The best authentic Mexican food in Chicago been coming to Pepe's since i was a kid im 40 now and I'll be going here till im 150 ?. My favorite is the stuffed chicken tacos and their beans are to die for nom nom nom ?
