Amazing food and atmosphere. The galbi and wagyu were both outstanding and the staff walked us through everything. Definitely coming back.

Perilla Steak was incredible OMG. The marinated short rib and the ribeye were perfectly cooked and the banchan was super fresh. Easily one of the best Korean BBQ experiences I’ve had in Chicago. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the space feels really upscale.

The food was excellent. We had the steak and frites and steak and eggs. The French press coffee was so smooth. We also had the Korean Bloody Mary with soju and kimchi…delicious! Highly recommend to celebrate anniversaries. The offered us two really yummy desserts. We would definitely come back.

Our server's Prime Steak Set was cooked to perfection, and the Caesar salad was a great appetizer. Crispy and delicious were the beef fat fries! A delicious blend of traditional steakhouse and Korean flavors.

I had the Korean breakfast platter with skirt steak and grilled mackerel; it was quite filling and different from any breakfast I've had in downtown Chicago. Flavors are strong and portions are substantial. The atmosphere is lovely and ideal.

PERILLA korean steakhouse is a stunning evolution of the traditional Korean BBQ experience, located right in the heart of the Loop. It manages to feel both sophisticated and approachable, making it equally suitable for a business dinner or a special date night.
• Elevated BBQ Experience: The tableside grilling is executed with precision, featuring high-quality cuts of meat like prime galbi and wagyu that are charred to perfection.
• Modern Korean Flavors: The menu expertly balances traditional staples with contemporary American steakhouse influences. Their kimchi fried rice and seasonal banchan (side dishes) are consistently fresh and flavorful.
• Chic Atmosphere: The interior design is sleek and moody, with high ceilings and a central bar that anchors the space, providing a much-needed upscale dining option for the area.
• Exceptional Service: The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and provides attentive service without being intrusive, ensuring the grilling process is seamless for the guests.
Pro Tip: Be sure to explore their cocktail menu; they offer creative drinks that incorporate Korean ingredients like soju and yuzu, which pair beautifully with the rich, smoky flavors of the grilled meats

Without a doubt, one of Chicago's greatest Korean BBQ restaurants is Perilla Steakhouse. The meat is of the highest caliber; it is expertly marbled, well seasoned, and wonderfully grilled at the table. The service is professional and responsive, and the area feels contemporary and sophisticated without being stuffy. Everyone was raving about the meals when we arrived for a conference. It was the ideal dinner to round off our journey. If you want a sophisticated Korean steakhouse experience, it's well worth it.

The steak and kimchi pork dumplings were excellent, but it took a while to get refills and check-ins during a busy dinner. Still delicious food — just room for improvement in timing however they were quite busy so I guess thats to be expected.

Great food and excellent service. A little bit louder that makes having a conversation a little difficult. But all in all is a great place to have dinner. Quality of food is great and the service is very gracious. Definitely will he back and recommend it.

Loved the Wagyu and prime cuts — perfectly seasoned and rich. The table-side grill experience made dinner feel interactive and fun, and the banchan variety added great balance to each bite. Definitely one of the best steak experiences in the Loop!

Absolute favorite for a splurge dinner. Tried the steak sets, grilled mushrooms, and brussels sprouts — every plate was full of flavor. The table grill setup made it quite memorable. Def not your standard steakhouse.

Loved the kimchi fried rice with its smoky, tangy punch. The interior is modern and welcoming, and the staff explained the grill cuts well. A bit pricier but worth the special occasion vibe.

The Caesar salad was a delicious starter, and the Prime Steak Set cooked by our server was cooked perfectly. The beef fat fries were crispy and addicting! A wonderful mix of classic steakhouse and Korean flavors.

Spent $500 dollars for a dinner for two here and was not impressed. The pacing of the food was completely off. we got our japchae and kimchi jigae way after we got our main course. The servers seemed disinterested. The meat was decent quality but nothing to write home about. the kimchi jigae lacked depth. the caeser salad had a smoked flavor which i wasnt a fan of. The drinks were overly experimental and didnt actually taste good.

This restaurant needs to seriously set a higher standard for what customers paying this amount of money expect to experience.
