Food was overpriced, paid $180 for 2 people. The first steak from the “premium” bundle was yucky, and too big to swallow, but the two other were great. I recommend the salad and the pasta that comes with the set. Overall this was a bad value for the money. Personally would not spend more than $100 on this.
We had a reservation for 10:30 AM, but the food didn't come out until almost 11:30. The portions were extremely small — so much so that we had to go somewhere else to eat after our meal. More importantly, the soup was very bland, and the rice, soup, and side dishes were all served cold. Only the meat was warm. If you're reading this review, I'd suggest thinking twice about whether it's worth waiting an hour and paying over $30 for a cold breakfast.
The food was very good. We tried the wagyu beef that was cooked to order at our table. It was very tender and packed a lot of flavor per bite. The warm seafood starter was also very tasty, along with the Brussels sprouts, and kimchi dumplings. The service was attentive and professional. There was a delay in getting us seated and we had to wait about 25 past our reservation time for our table. The restaurant provided a glasses of champagne and a salmon appetizer to compensate, which was a nice gesture.
We had an amazing experience at Perilla Steakhouse! The drinks were incredibly flavorful and paired perfectly with our meal. We ordered the premium set and the kimchi stew, and everything tasted fantastic. The meat was unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection, and the banchan had the perfect balance of flavors without overpowering the meal. We also really enjoyed the japchae. It was delicious and not too sweet, which we appreciated. Overall, the food was outstanding, and we can't wait to come back again!
So good!! Best dining experience we've had in a long time. The meat was so tender. Ban chans and beef fat fries were goood. Impeccable service.
To be honest, I built this up in my mind more. First off, service was excellent. Food was also excellent. But it wasn't what I was expecting. We went on a Sunday, and I thought it would be brunch service, but it wasn't. Also, the amount of food for the price was I think a bit low, especially considering that most of the food was vegetarian fare. I would like to try the dinner service but I am not sure that I wouldn't feel the same way. Expensive food, excellent but not very much.
We showed up on time for our 5 o'clock reservation and were told to wait. We waited until 5:25 before the hostess finally sat us. We read online that their Happy Hour menu lasted until 6pm. We were told that their Happy Hour was only from 4-5pm, and only at the bar, which was confusing since Perilla doesn't even open until 5pm. The service took awhile and ordering food was unclear- we were given our separate dumplings all on one plate and were also not told this, so we waited assuming another dumplings plate was arriving that wasn't.
Food was incredible. Highly recommend the kimchi fried rice. My biggest complaint was the service, especially when it came to searing my party. I had booked a resy a couple of weeks in advance, showed up 10mins. early but didn't get sat until 20mins past our reservation time. Not only that, but walk-ins were getting sat before my 2 person party. If patrons are expected to show up for their resy on time or within the 10min mark, restaurants should be expected to honor as well. Sad to experience the restaurant not even acknowledging or giving us something for our patience. I do plan to be back one more time and hope that the overall experience will be better.
Excellent experience and food. I tried to go back the next day because I was dreaming about the steak I had but couldn't get in. A+ spot!
It was great. Danny our server was incredible. The ventilation system was also very good so you don't smell like smoke after the meal.

My husband did the Premium Steakhouse Set, consisting of several types of beef cooked to his request at the table. It included an array of sides, so each bite was slightly different. He absolutely loved it, and I enjoyed what I tried. I'm a pescatarian, and Amy, our amazing server, offered a chef's special: Arctic Char with bok choy, and I had broccolini as a side dish. The food was wonderful, as were our cocktails. His was the Mizunara Maple Fizz (he was very happy with it!) and mine the n/a Odaesan Forest. We enjoyed them immensely: I have to say it was probably the best n/a cocktail I've ever had! Each sip was so complex and layered, with a smoky sweetness. Loved it. It was a special experience. The food and staff were fantastic. Would absolutely go again.
Fantastic experience. We had the chefs table to celebrate an anniversary and engagement. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. They were great with our shellfish allergies. They grill the meat tableside and it was perfectly done. The drinks were very good and the bartenders were very kind. The only item that was weird was that they added another charge for an additional seaweed chips for $4 as part of the caviar service. It struck us as weird given the level of establishment (that it would be included in the overall caviar service charge). Otherwise everything was fantastic. I would highly recommend Perilla as a fine dining restaurant.
Food and drink were outstanding. Chive pancake and oysters were perfect. Korean fried chicken was delicious. The stir fried rice with bleu cheese was delightful. Only one drawback and that was that our drinks came after a few of our shareable plates arrived. Server was excellent; it looked as though the bar was busy and understaffed.
Our server was very attentive. The food was terrific. i wish they have some more dessert options.
Our table chef was amazing! Our waiter never once came back to our table. If you order the Korean experience...it is a lot of food and we certainly didn't need to order an appetizer.
