My fave place for coffee and breakfast fare in Portage Park. We use their roasted beans at home too. I love an oatmilk cappuccino with a pump of rose syrup. They also make a great cortado. My husband loves the bagel with salmon and capers. I meet up with a friend here.m The atmosphere is cozy.
Literally the only coffee shop I've ever been to that charges a fee for water/ doesn't provide a water station. Imagine charging people 50 cents for water after they just spent almost $7 on a latte. It's not a good look when even chain coffee shops provide free water. Don't call yourselves POC/LGBT friendly if you're gonna be that stingy.

I have lived in dunning square for 18 years. I like some good coffee. The lattes here, like the tuxedo holy moly, this is some coffee I can't finish fast because the caffeine hits me a 1/4 of the way in the coffee but in a good way! Their breakfast burrito is amazing, they are always happy and chipper just need to wait like 10 to 15 mins. Maybe it has gotten better but it's so worth it. Totally recommend if you like yourself good quality coffee.

Food is absolutely fire, a 10/10! Atmosphere is amazing, quiet, and fun. Service was ok, to the woman in the blue sweater with her hair in a clip with black hair you are so rude it’s not our fault You hate your job. Do better and if you don’t like customer service maybe don’t work a customer service job. And stop rolling your eyes at customers.

I don’t live near the percolator anymore, I grew up around the corner and this place provided my daily fuel before work everyday for years, and now that I have moved. I realize how spoiled I was. This coffee shop is AWESOME and the owners are the sweetest. I am always comparing other shops to this one, and none surpassed it yet.

I come here regularly. Cozy environment with relaxing music and amazing local art on the wall. The employees are friendly who always greet me when I arrive and wish me a great day when I leave. Pictured is my absolute favorite Jalapeño Popper Bagel loaded with chopped Jalapeños, Jalapeño cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and fluffy eggs on an everything bagel along with an extremely tasty cold brew coffee.
Asked to add milk in my cappuccino because it was to much strong , they add RAW COLD milk in my hot cappuccino 🫱🏽🫲🏾 Never will come again.

I benchmark all coffee shops with their lattes, and this place does a great job. They scored bonus points by having macadamia milk which is pretty rare. I typically ask for heavy cream which isn't on the menu but they make it for me anyway. They also have great beans that are always roasted super recently.
