Absolutely An Amazing Store And Amazing Man Running It! Def A Pilar For Rogers Park. Kind And very Fun To Be Around! Love This Place. As far as them having things for the most part he has everything you need from a basic corner store to get about your day so that shouldn't even be a problem either and if he doesn't have it he see if he can get it for you, Phills is it!

This review is for Bacolod's Best Kitchen, which is inside the unimart. I really wanted to like this place but frankly I'm disappointed. I got the grilled pork bellies, La Paz batchoy noodle soup and the pancit palabok. The pork bellies were very tough. The other food lacked flavor. It all looked delicious, but the taste was a letdown. Also do not plan on doing grocery shopping here. They have one shelf of goods. The rest of the store is filled with junk. So I'm not gonna say the food was gross, just bland. I won't return.

I have lived in Andersonville or near Andersonville for over 30 years and have always driven or walked by Uni Mart never realizing what a hidden gem it is! We stumbled in during the snow storm yesterday and the food was piping hot and ready. Traditionally cooked Filipino food that really sticks to your ribs. Plus where are you going to find a lunch special for 2 entrees for $7?! Can't go wrong with the caldareta (kaldereta) which is a meat stew with deliciously tender sweet peppers and the sinigang, a sour and savory soup. Go support this small business!
