I have lived in Andersonville or near Andersonville for over 30 years and have always driven or walked by Uni Mart never realizing what a hidden gem it is! We stumbled in during the snow storm yesterday and the food was piping hot and ready. Traditionally cooked Filipino food that really sticks to your ribs. Filipino food competition in Chicago is getting bigger. It really benefits the consumers but affects the smaller store. They continuosly redesigning the place but the groceries are becoming limited. Free fish frying on Tuesday and lunch combo everyday. They expanded the dining area and places more tables for foos consumption. They even have coffee bar with local Filipino hot choco. They never fail the customers on the quality of food.

Absolutely An Amazing Store And Amazing Man Running It! Def A Pilar For Rogers Park. Kind And very Fun To Be Around! Love This Place. As far as them having things for the most part he has everything you need from a basic corner store to get about your day so that shouldn't even be a problem either and if he doesn't have it he see if he can get it for you, Phills is it!
