I've been here twice now and the service is always fantastic. I don't know anything about roasting coffee but the people are helpful and kind. The atmosphere is chill and inviting, as someone who might be easily turned off by being in a new place alone, this place was welcoming. Will continue to visit, definitely recommend.

The pastries and iced chai I got were great! I was a bit shocked that the cinnamon roll croissant I got for my roommate was $7.25, but my roommate said it was a solid 4/5, so I think it was worth it.
My other roommate and I also loved our pastries. 5/5 for both the blueberry muffin and blueberry lemon glazed scone. Perfectly sweet with satisfying golden crust. ❤️
Lastly, the employees were very nice, so I'll definitely be coming back. 😁

Very slow! Need better management of walk in customers vs mobile orders. Coffee shouldn’t take 15 minutes. Made my order wrong and no apology and then started working on another order before remaking mine.

First trip to Chicago to move our daughter. Husband found this location as it was close to our hotel. Loved the coffee and the muffins and sweet rolls were delicious. Special shout out to Attika (sorry if I misspelled your name). Your customer service skills were top notch and you definitely made us feel welcomed at a time when it was most needed.!! Definitely be back!!

We never have been to a Philz before until this visit to Chicago. Staff are very friendly. The food is great and yes the coffee is very good. Unique creative drinks are refreshing and full of flavor. They are different then other coffee shops we've been to. Looking forward to our next visit to Chicago and coming back to Philz!
