One of my favorite places to grab a beer on a patio in Logan Square. Beer is always so fresh and they have a great rotating selection. Hadn't tried their food until my recent visit and I have to say, the crab Rangoon dip was out of this world good. Highly recommend!
Pilot Project Brewing is such an amazing spot! The atmosphere is lively and creative, with a unique mix of craft beer and delicious food that makes every visit a treat. Their rotating selection of brews is always exciting, and the menu pairs perfectly with whatever you choose.
A huge part of what makes the experience stand out is the people. Steven and Catelyn are incredible — they bring so much warmth, hospitality, and genuine passion to the table. They make you feel like more than just a guest; they make you feel part of the community.
If you’re looking for a place that combines great beer, tasty food, and an unforgettable experience, Pilot Project Brewing is the spot. Can’t recommend it enough!
Perfect atmosphere to party
Wide varieties of beer. All were great. They have coffee and canned cocktails if that's up your alley. I didn't get food, but the food menu looked good, so I'll have to go back.
The BEST Caesar salad in Logan Square!
They need to just stick to brewery. They only serve can drinks and mediocre appetizers. Definitely would not go back.
Unique selection of beer and nice taproom, they also serve coffee! QR code/bar service style brewery. My favorite was the green mountain hazy and Copenhagen fruited pale ale. Next time I want to try their hard kombucha… They also have cocktails, to-go beer, and a handful of appetizers and entrees to choose from.
Doesn't mention anywhere that it is a cashless establishment. Came in with only cash and wasnt able to order anything..... pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to a brew and a sandwich after work.
DJ sucks, blasting music you can’t hear anyone next to you. Won’t come again.
I wish I could've hung out here longer, but all my plans got messed up this trip. Suffice to say I really enjoyed the only two beers I had. The Two Tales and Sindhu were both deadly. I had no problems crushing them in the 20-30min I was there. I hope they're still available on my next visit. They have an extensive beer and tap list. Some were only available in cans, I'm mildly curious in this pickle beer I saw others ordering. As I was basically in there to pregame for a concert, I didn't really hangout or read. It's a fairly generic large concrete, wood, metal brewery. Although I had to ask about their giant air plants (they're fake, the originals all died loI). They also have a large outdoor patio I would've used if not for that dust storm?! They have food too.

I wanted to like this place but the service just plainly sucks. The servers and staff don’t have any clue about basic hospitality. I’ve been in there 3/4 times and every time there is a service issue. I cant tell if they are being ageist (I’m 48 and I’ve seen plenty of people my age in there) or if they are just trying to emit a hipster vibe to be cool or if the staff is truly that inept.
Who manages this place??
one of my favorite places in Chicago! Love the vibe, the dips, and the beer flights
Willow was awesome! And the pickle beer is okay! What was really outstanding was her camo pants
I went there for the paint your pet event. I was skeptical it would all come together in the end and it turned out so cute!!
Love this place! I really like vibes and atmosphere. It’s perfect spot for couple like us, I don’t drink and my husband likes trying variety of beer. They have coffee and other non alcoholic beverages. I had a lavender lemonade matcha, it was really good! Flight was fail cuz only two of beers he liked it.
