I made a reservation and requested to sit outside. No one reached out saying that the area was booked for an event and I had to change all my plans due to the location and cancellation. It appears no one looks at the comments. If the request can't be accommodated, they should let me know. Very disappointing

Delighted we picked this restaurant - could not believe how quiet it was because it has excellent reviews and the food is really, really good. The service is attentive but in no way intrusive. Would highly recommend

The service at this restaurant was absolutely terrible. After we were seated, it took an excruciating 20 minutes to get our menus. Then, it took another 10 minutes to get our waters and place our orders. To add insult to injury, we had to wait an agonizing 50 minutes for our food. Everyone else in the restaurant was either waiting for their food or service, and we were left standing there, confused and frustrated as well. To make matters worse we were given a check that wasn't for us. How could they give us a check and not have our food yet? It was a complete and utter mess.

This was a highly unusual, but poor experience at the Illinois Street Pinstripes. From haughty greeters, to bird dung on placemats, bug bites from sitting at the table, to attempts to be charged for our food order which we canceled because we just wanted to leave... it was not a good night for Pinstripes. We will try again only because this experience was so unusually bad.

This is one of my very favorite restaurants. I especially love the deck along the quay in the summer time. Even indoors the atmosphere is fun. Their salads are very creative, fresh and well made. My companion wasn't crazy about his sliders. He thought they were tough and he didn't like whatever the sauce was on top. If you order them, I would recommend that you specify how well done you like them and ask for the sauce on the side. Service was great. It was my birthday and they sent me a $20 gift certificate. Thank you

We had a party of 7 for Sunday brunch. The service was great, the selection of foods available was plenty. The made to order omelet and chilaquiles station was very good and fast. The carving station and waffle station was delicious. I'd recommend the lemon ricotta and fresh strawberries to top the waffles. I'd also recommend the goat cheese and chicken pasta as well as the breakfast pasta.
Excellent service! We had a reservation for a party of 16 and they accommodated us super well - especially our server John Michael who did a great job. They even gave us a complimentary champagne toast to celebrate the engagement in our group! Great vibes and food too.

I will call this place a diamond in a ruff. But it is downtown and parking across the street is $20 for a half an hour they did have valet but I'm not sure about the price it was a birthday package
