Our first night in Chicago we wanted some good Italian food that was close to our hotel. Pizano's was recommended to us from a local born and raised here in Chicago. The staff could not have been nicer and the food was delicious! We had the chopped salad, a deep dish pizza and the Gnocchi alla Hot Mama recommended to us by our waitress. All of it was delicious. The portion sizes are enormous so we left with a bag of food which we enjoyed the next day.
Went with a large group of adults and kids on a Thursday evening. We had 3 tables of 6 people. Everything was fine to start, service was a tad slow but it was busy in the restaurant so nothing to dock them on. We were the second of the three tables to order. Our garlic cheese bread appetizer came out in a normal time after ordering and was great. But here is where it goes south. Great place. Perfect for a family of 4 for Valentine's Day. Parking was kind of a pain to find, but other than that it was a very enjoyable evening. Our server was outstanding and the complimentary dessert was awesome. The kids said it was a 10/10! Thank you!!
