Solid coffee. Is pretty much always packed, which means having to wait a lot of the time and unlikely you can sit down inside. In the summer there’s a nice patio outside though. Their foods okay, but is overpriced for what you get.

The food is fine, nothing special though and the lack of wifi is a major detractor. They probably want to deter people who will sit and occupy a table all day but no wifi is not the way to do it.

Had a veggie baguette , Strawberry matcha and a hot cappuccino. Definitely the matcha stood out and was extremely good. Baguette and cappuccino were good too.

Ordered coffees and the Plein Grain Bowl, pancakes & quesadilla. Drinks were made very quickly and food came out not too long after that. Everything was delicious and the outdoor seating was perfect on a nice day.
This has always been a favorite here for me to treat myself to a coffee or lunch. I order here often for work and is my main go to for working lunches. After the service I received today, I will be making an effort to go elsewhere in Hyde Park. I had a very busy day running around setting up various meetings and made multiple orders for pick up because I need to be efficient with my time and grab and go. Today alone I spent over $157.00. I failed to note I needed an extra box for a sandwich that would be shared, when I asked for an extra dressing for the second box I was told it was a $1. I said I did not bring my card, but could it be added to my order. I was told since I used a 3rd party app the system does not allow the add on. There is no other way to order ahead with Plein Air, but to to use a 3rd party app. I was told they would give it to me this time, but to remember they are a small business. I mentioned how I am a repeat customer and today alone spent over $150 and just got a shoulder shrug from the barista and cold shoulder after given the dressing. I have working lunches the rest of this week and will be going elsewhere.

I enjoyed sitting here for an hour playing puzzles and drinking their vanilla iced cappuccino May be I am little confused but it was vanilla and it was cold and it was Good. Vibes are cool and friendly fresh feelin the air. Outside sitting in a good weather can be a great place to enjoy coffee n book With or without friends it’s a nice place to enjoy
