In all..my first experience was good..service was excellent and very inviting...the food especially for me being a picky eater had options that I could choose...my thing is I know it's chicago and the economy isn't great but their drinks definitely need to be relooked at..definitely need fountain drinks as they only serve bottle or can pop at higher prices..also they should definitely expand into a bigger building as it's definitely cramped..besides that very good...
I went with the fried chicken and french toast and it was a wonderful mashup of savory and sweet. The crisp chicken paired perfectly with the thick challah french toast and that hint of honey butter balanced everything. It’s rich but not overwhelming and hits just the right nostalgic vibe. The space felt bright and welcoming like the kind of happy spot you want to linger in. I’ll definitely be back to share that plate again soon.
My parents and I liked it they thought they wouldn’t because they are used to going to their favorite spots, but I suggested this one and it did not fail. We got the pancakes, the Chilaquiles Verdes with carne , eggs Benedict and the Cuban sandwich everything was delightful and the service from Alondra was on point … 10/10
