Enjoyed singing old hymns to live organ. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Good prices. Chef owner Dave greets each table.

We went out to eat with some friends and had a great time. Everything was flavorful and the portions were substantial. Our experience was completely unaffected by the large party that was there at the same time; we were seated promptly, were greeted with a smile, and our dinner arrived on time. Everything was handled expertly by the staff. Fantastic ambiance, first-rate service, and a location we will most certainly return to!

The Polo Inn Bed & Breakfast is such a wonderful and cozy place. The atmosphere feel warm and special, you feel like at home the moment you walk in. The food is really delicious, every meal taste fresh and full of flavor. The rooms are comfortable and clean, perfect for relaxing after a day in the city. The staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome every time. I like stay here because it’s quiet, charming and has that unique Chicago vibe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was amazing. It was my first trip to downtown town Chicago and I decided to give this place a try. From the research my crew did, I believe the building was built in 1929 and was originally a bank that never opened due to the depression. Don’t expect a 5 star hotel. Do expect a piece of Chicago history. The owner is extremely hospitable. My flight and rental was running late. He waited on the street curb with his wonderful dog to welcome us. My only regret is my schedule prevented me from eating dinner there. If it is anything like breakfast, I missed out. Private parking next to it(which is rare in the city). Lyft and uber drivers everywhere. The longest we waited was 8 minutes.

Sunday "Gospel" brunch was more of a hymnal brunch. Beautifully played organ with soloist accompanying intermittently. The food was delicious! The staff was amazing. Great family atmosphere. Warm and inviting. Worth a visit, but don't expect a gospel chorus.

Spectacular! Amazing food, awesome staff, beautiful building, free parking, and the owner, Dave, is an absolute Joy! On Sundays, they have a Gospel Brunch with fantastic live music.

I really loved it. Martin was a wonderful ambassador for Polo Inn. The food is to die for.

This is a charming and character filled restaurant nestled in the Bridgeport neighborhood of Chicago. The vibe is modern and eclectic. Located in a historic building, the owner and Chef, Dave Samber, makes you feel welcomed and part of this beloved local eatery! The food is fresh and crafted with great care. One quiet star on the menu is the fabulous Mushroom Soup. Fresh and delicious with every spoonful! Excellent burgers, steaks, and salads. This restaurant is grounded in community, quality, and tradition!

I needed a very special venue to host a momentous occasion, my mother’s 95th birthday. My requirements were: a private room for about 100 people, good food, good service, fair pricing, parking and a room that would impress. Dave and his crew at the Polo Inn knocked it out of the park. The event was LOVELY. The historic Eagle Room was a white box that came alive with beautiful lighting, flowers, and the ability to project a photo montage of my mom’s life. The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Having chef Dave present the buffet was a special touch. I would highly recommend the Polo Inn for a delicious meal or a wonderful event

The mother's day brunch at the Polo Inn was delicious. The food was so satisfying and well executed. The cornbread custard was really the start of the show. But, I did put the dill sauce from the salmon on everything! A wonderful homestyle meal left our family of four satisfied and smiling the whole day. Wonderfully relaxed atmosphere, but we all felt taken care of. The team was really hustling.

Had been to the Polo Inn a few times and had good meals, but this Easter Paula and I went to the brunch. The food and service was outstanding.

Highly recommend their Sunday brunch! My husband and I went here with a couple of friends over Christmas. We had planned on going to the Christkindle Market, but since it had been so crowded lately, we thought it'd be more enjoyable to go somewhere else. The Sunday hymns on the organ made for such a fun brunch, and the menu was so creative. With missing church that morning, this was the best possible alternative :)
