Ordered online at 3:15 — app said the order would be ready by 3:30. Arrived 3:50 zero customers, order wasn’t ready. Person started making the order when I arrived. (Apparently they didn’t make the sandwiches because they didn’t have artichokes. The whole sandwich still should have been ready except to drop on the artichokes but wasn’t.) Asked for mayo and was told it’s already in the chicken salad ….?????? The sandwich fixer then proceeded to give me a lesson on how Potbelly makes sandwiches — which must not apply to any of their other locations because I never have these problems elsewhere with the very same requests. And I don’t appreciate a lot of back and forth dialogue about it when I simply want to pick up an order. Giving customers what they want without a hassle and without having to make two trips and wait for something that should’ve been ready would be very much appreciated.

The food here is delicious, the service definitely sucks they always take forever to take the order , make the sandwich and to charge me . I get it if it’s busy but if I’m the only One there it shouldn’t take 20 mins to get my meal together leaving me with a 30 min lunch . They need to speed it up .

I feel horrible for writing this review because I generally love Potbelly’s. The food is great they’re clean. I have no problems with them, but today 06/04/2025 I walked into this Potbelly’s on Canal and I have to say I had the worst experience there. Not only did the sandwich maker not greet me-she wasn’t smiling and she wasn’t pleasant. She treated me as if she was irritated with my presence there. I’ve been going to Potbelly’s for years, and I know for a fact that that is not allowed. Then she got my order wrong and then had a bad attitude because I corrected her. This interaction with her irritated me so bad that I turned around and walked out of the establishment. The most irritating part was that I was craving Potbelly’s and I ended up just going to Subway across the street. I had to beg Subway to make my sandwich barely even close enough to my normal Potbelly sandwich. I don’t know if I’ll ever go back to this location. I’m definitely staying at my normal location where the staff is great.

Like the other reviews have said, they're likely to get your order wrong and service can be slow at times. Consider other locations/choices if you have the chance

I wish I could give 0 stars. It is ridiculous why would you have a time to pick up your mobile order if your not going to start making it until 15 minutes after the pick up time you gave me. And on top of that you start making it after I've asked about my order 3 times and you make everyone's order in the store before mine. it was also filthy in the store.

I ordered from potbelly online for pick up. I ordered chile bowl and when I went to pick up order the employee there was really rude I checked my order no extra cheese on side. He like that's extra I said asked for it online when I paid it. He like I will charge you but I take the rest orders first said no I have go back to work charge me now. He slams the cheese and have a great day with a attitude. I will never order from here bad customer service and bad attitude. They need employees with better customer service training. There food was ok not great. They deserve no stars

Shoutout to Claudia I’m not sure if that’s how you spell her name but she had the best customer service and thanks to her I’ll be coming back she had so much patience with me because I did not know what I wanted but she was sure to help me out ❤️she needs a raise 🫶🏼
