Potbelly is good, this specific store is NOT.Poor customer service, poor food quality.After ordering the same thing for months through their app and getting my order wrong MULTIPLE times, I finally got tired of it and decided to go to the store to ask for my money back. They agreed that the order was wrong and told me I would receive my refund in "5 to 10 business days". However, I NEVER saw it reflected in my account. After going back to check in with the manager 3 times and being told "we'll call you once we know more about it," I am finally writing this down for others to know. The staff seems distracted while preparing orders, often flirting around, walking to the back room, and not paying attention to the customers. The average wait time to get a sub here is approximately an hour. There are multiple reviews that say the same. BEWARE.

I placed an order for delivery. They were fast and accurate but unfortunately attention to detail is missing. My Mac and cheese should not have passed quality control. It was pretty disgusting...I don't know why they would serve this. I would've been ok if they told me there was no more and offered an alternative. They also forgot the cute, delicious cookies on both our shakes. Boo

I really enjoy their original grilled chicken sandwich and potato soup is outstanding...Managers are friendly as well as other crew members!!Big guy Chris/ manager was great, but too bad he left 4 other opportunities...The bottom line is this is one of the best Potbelly places around!!!

Came here a few days ago and service was not good. Felt like the African American male and female who were preparing the sandwiches and adding the ingredients were a bit racist. The female who charged me was great! It had been a while since I last ordered and the female who was serving the food complained and was talking smack about how we weren’t ready and compared us to their usual customers. There was no line and there were no people expecting orders so I don’t know what the issue was. If you’re not patient why work in a place requiring you to work with people?

I've only been there twice. But let me tell you. The food is great. Each time I ordered The Wreck. And was pleasantly surprised! The only problem I had with it was I got greedy,"Ate the whole thing,and was mad because I didn't feel like going back to order more. My opinion is,you can't lose. Perfect food,friendly service!.

Everytime I order delivery from this place, they always forget the cookie for some reason. They deliver everything else, but I'm always missing the cookie on my order and this has always been on multiple occasions. If they ran out, they should contact that there's no more so they don't charge you for a missing item.

This used to be my fav spot. Looks like they have a new crew aside from the manager ( she has a great personality). Anywho I ordered a veggie melt. Far from a melt! My sandwich sat for a good five minutes before it was made. On top of that the guy asked me for my toppings ( repeated twice) simple request. Everything no oil. Still messed it up. The cashier looked like she had better things to do that day.. my sandwich tasted like the service. Cookie was good though!! Result of the second star

Terrible. They run out of food then there’s about three or more workers and service is very very slow,very long Wait time approximately 15 minutes just for one order by far one of the worst

The team here is excellent!!! It's by UIC so I assume they get a lot of college students. Today they were PACKED and SLAMMED with online orders. The team is just cranking out orders. They are a well-oiled machine! I ordered in person and got through the line in like 8 minutes MAX. The online orders were a bit backed up but what can you do? I come here often, and my sandwiches are always delicious! The service is always friendly and quick!!

Much better experience than from the location in Evergreen Park. Staff greeted myself and every customer that walked through the door. Very pleasant experience with an extraordinary staff.

I went this place yesterday and the cashier charged me 45.00 dlls just for 3 original sandwiches only not meals.She was very besy and her cellphone. And she did not gave me a recipt. And i checked my app i saw this amount.How i can complain, if i don't have my recipt.And the worst she dropped my sandwich, ?

Well, I’m in the hospital nearby, and I wanted a Potbelly sandwich. I’ve never had a sandwich from this location, and I looked at the reviews and thought, maybe I should get a sandwich from the canal location. However, I didn’t want to inconvenience my boyfriend. I see why this place has so many low stars. My boyfriend says the person who prepared his sandwich literally threw it together, and he didn’t have the energy to battle her. Glad I wasn’t there because I don’t allow anyone to service me in such a manner. Furthermore, my skinny tuna sandwich had no cheese (requested), cucumbers, (didn’t request ), extra tomato (didn’t request ) 1 pickle (requested extra). My boyfriend says he repeated the ingredients several times to the person making the sandwich, and she still didn’t get it right. He had a text message of want I wanted. How is that possible, when you are standing there with the person telling you what to do…This owner is allowing employees to run the business in the ground.

This is the second time I stop by this location and it is the second time I receive consistent bad service. I ordered a veggie melt, which automatically comes with avocado -- no avocado was added. I asked for hot peppers and pickles -- no hot peppers or pickles were added. The person on the clock had a bad attitude, and the two other employees off the clock (they made sure I knew they were off the clock) were just hanging around cursing.
