Potter's Chicago Burger Bar offers terrific service and accommodations, going above and beyond for special occasions like birthdays. While the burgers are good, there was confusion about whether fries were included. Despite this, the burgers are some of the best ever tasted, served with delicious fries and aoli. The market greens salad with huge blackberries and fresh strawberries, feta, finely chopped bell pepper, and cucumber in a delicious apricot vinaigrette is also a highlight, especially when paired with perfectly cooked salmon. Located in the Palmer House Hotel, this restaurant provides a fantastic dining experience worth returning for. However, some guests noted that the atmosphere could lose its speakeasy appeal with children present in the bar, and the drinks, while okay, can be pricey. The service may vary, with some customers feeling that their waitress lost interest after they ordered cocktails. There is also an automatic surcharge to be aware of. Overall, the place is clean with plenty of seating, making it a spot to consider for a visit.
