Could have been great but lost some speakeasy appeal when there are children in the bar. The drinks were ok, pricey - the old-fashioned was recommended. The waitress lost interest in us, maybe because we only ordered cocktails it seemed, until it was time for us to sign the bill. Beware of the automatic surcharge.
TERRIFIC SERVICE AND ACCOMODATIONS BY THE MANAGER! They went out of their way to let us celebrate my daughter's birthday there. I arrived a little early and decorated with balloons and banners. The manager had set aside a small area for us to use, which was an exception to their policy. It made for a lovely experience and fun time. Thank you to the manager and staff at Potters Chicago Burger Bar for going above and beyond!
Burgers were good, but not the best we have ever had. One thing that was wrong was that their website says fries are included with each burger, when we asked the waiter, he said no, everything is separate. Somebody needs to update the waiter or the website, whichever one is correct.
