Me and my girlfriend visited Provare for my birthday and it was my first time there, my waitress Keirra was very nice and friendly, she went above herself and we really had a great time, definitely recommend.

I loved everything about this restaurant. From the greeting when you first walk into the establishment, to the excellent service from the waitress, and the delicious food. Everything was a 10/10. I had no complaints!

Absolutely a 10/10. The rum punch shots as a welcome were great. The drinks were tasty but we certainly felt them! The salmon egg rolls were tasty! Nice and crunchy and the sauce was delicious. The spinach & artichoke dip with garlic bread? AMAZING. It was such a filling appetizer! Also, the alfredo with lamb chops were super tasty! Love how the chops still had a chew to them even when well done. The drunken pasta was SO satisfying and well seasoned. I’m so glad we got to try this spot. Been on our list for a minute. The pastas come hot and stay hot! They don’t get lukewarm even after a couple minutes like some other restaurants and that’s what we loved. Our waiter, Mandy H was impeccable. 10 stars for her too. To top if off we enjoyed the butter cake with vanilla ice cream and it was the perfect size for 2! Definitely enjoyed to the fullest and will be coming again even though I’m trying to unbig my back. Big shout out to whoever was on the music as well!

My wife and I have been trying to make a reservation to visit this spot for so long, we were finally able to book one. We arrived yesterday 3/30/24 at 10:24 as our reservation was for 10:30. We were told by the two hostess that our reservation was for the speak easy down stairs and they were not seating anyone else upstairs. We were confused, we were unaware of what speak easy even was. When we booked on line it had to be an oversight. One of the hostesses had an attitude and told us that we could book another reservation at a later date and time if we wanted to sit upstairs. I have a lot of friends that have visited this spot and they have nice reviews about the vibe and food here. We did not get to experience any of this. While upstairs is elegant and appears to be a vibe, we will never know as we didn’t get that experience. I like to vlog when out trying new places/restaurants and I wasn’t able to get a picture or video of this nice place, only of the food. However when we went downstairs to the lounge ( because that’s really what it is) the atmosphere was very gloomy (lighting was very dim), limited space, small tables. Not to mention we did not have access to the full menu, we were only allowed to order from the little bites menu( basically like a sports bar). We expressed our disappointment to our waitress ( pregnant young lady really sweet) and she spoke with someone upstairs who allowed us to order from the full menu but we had to hurry up because the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes. I ordered the fried lobster tails and spinach dip with crawfish and shrimp, my wife ordered the steak fritters with the garlic parmesan fries. The fried lobster tails 10/10, dip 7/10 and the steak was horrible! Absolutely no seasoning at all! It tasted like the grill, no it was not charred just tasted like the meat was just put on the grill with no seasoning whatsoever. We couldn’t send it back to the kitchen because it was closed so we just gave it back. I then felt the need to ask for to go containers as this was no longer a date night with my wife, she had no food to eat. I felt so bad that we left and I went home to cook for her. This was very disappointing to us as I have been following the cook/ Co- owner Jordan for quite some time on social media for years and I am so proud of him for making it on Gordan Ramsey show, continuing to chase his dream in the chef/ restaurant industry. I was really hoping to experience the litt vibe and elegant setting as I’ve seen/ heard of, but we didn’t get that.

I was so excited to check this place out. First I must say the customer service was amazing. No complaints at all there. Let's go through the visit. We were originally seated at a table in the center aisle, a complete no go if you have a handbag or jacket with you. You have no where to put your things so you can enjoy your meal. We asked to be moved and we were reasonably accommodated. The appetizer was good we had the spinach dip, crab cakes and salmon egg rolls. The dip was the best of the 3, the egg rolls were oily and the crab cakes were mediocre at best, they came in a set of six small balls however we only received 5 the sixth one was the outer crust only. Weird! The entree came and it was a complete disappointment. I had the seafood trio, I asked if they could make it mild as the menu states it comes as spicy. Well it was a flavorless bowl of seafood and chewy pasta. I took two bites and pushed it away. When I say zero flavor I mean zero flavor. This disappointment was monumental because I wanted to celebrate this place. Needless to say we came we saw we won't be back.

Can't say enough about our 1st experience there. Had the artichoke dip, drunk pasta and seafood trio. Each was absolutely delicious. Our server was attentive and friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone. Haven't had a cajun style meal this good since New Orleans.Parking: Typical Chicago parking for a residential area. Good luck.Kid-friendliness: Do not recommend for kids. This is a great date night experience.

Staff is friendly and welcoming. Food is top notch. Try the crabby fries, salad with salmon, and Sangria! Or get the spinach artichoke dip, the fettuccine or the lamp chops. Everything we had was DELICIOUS!
