Stopped by late on a Sunday night and ordered the Cajun catfish nuggets -- they were so good! I don't even really like catfish, but I loved this! The nuggets were hot and fresh, and so well seasoned and crispy. The mac and cheese and the greens (made with smoked turkey not pork) were also really tasty. The chef was also very warm and friendly to us. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious food! Got the Mac n cheese greens (made with smoked turkey) and catfish nuggets, all hits. Catfish was well seasoned crispy and good quality. Chef was friendly and was happy to put an order in 7 mins before close on a Sunday night. I’ll be back!

Whole chicken wings were fire. Simply cooked but good balance of salt & pepper. Mac and cheese side was tasty, greens were B+, and cornbread was very crumbly with great flavor

I have been coming here for over a year now, My go to is the philly cheese steak and fries, it never disappoints! Food is delicious every single time! I highly recommend this place.
Finally a restaurant here in Chicago that understands how to make fried okras! If you are in a mood for southern cooking, this should be your holy grail spot! Small family own business that definitely knows their way around the kitchen! Only suggestion...have more options for us vegetarians.

I ate there for the first time on a Wednesday 2 weeks ago when we were shooting pool at Cali's Corner and I'll tell you what that was the most awesomest food I've had in a long time !
