Ordered delivery so can’t speak to the restaurant experience! I got both the Spicy Quartz and Spicy Garnet (both vegan), and my partner got the standard Spicy Quartz. Takeout portions were pretty decent but add-ons were pricey (vegan Garnet does not come standard with tofu, an extra $2). We thought the ramen was flavorful and had an acceptable amount of noodles and veggies. Unfortunately, as other reviewers have mentioned, we both had extremely pungent, painful and…explosive… digestive issues a few hours after eating this ramen. We might consider trying the food again (at the restaurant next time) when we need to clear out our system, lol.

The quality at Rakkan is different from what we remember it being. We came here a few times when a friend lived in the area around 2023-2024 and loved it. We went this past week and were disappointed because the quality didn’t match the price we paid. The staff were amazing and attentive, but the ramen was very mid. I think we paid close to $50 for just two bowls of ramen without extra add-ins etc. Overall, I wouldn’t pay that price for Rakkan again.

This ramen place is the perfect stop during a cold winter day. I went with a large group and we all loved what we got. I couldn’t decide between the yuzu or green tea iced drinks so the waiter made a mixed concoction for me and it was delicious. Overall, great food and great service!

10/10!!!! This was perfect on a cold day. I enjoyed the Garnet ramen with spicy pork. The salmon crudo was my favorite part of the meal. Perfection. Also enjoyed the yuzu lemonade and a few lives of sashimi. Our lovely waiter Brian needs a big ol raise!

Love that there's vegan options available and the spicy vegan quartz ramen was pretty delicious. I'm a huge fan of that broth especially, super flavorful. The noodles seem a little chewy compared to what I'm used to which was odd to me and I just wish the tofu used was marinated or something before it's added to the ramen, would really take it to the next level. Still really good once you get past the noodle texture

Food is great and amazing. 4 stars only because its overpriced.
Food tasted great but they charge you for every little thing. You can make a bowl “meatless” but even when they originally come with eggs, if you want to keep the egg (that it already comes with), they charge you extra for it without saying anything. Swapping out meat for a veggie saves them money and still, they charge extra for egg (not even an extra egg, but again, the one it comes with!). Service was great though besides the lack of transparency. The playlist was fire.

I have ordered from here a bunch of times and portions feel good for the amount you pay. This time our delivery food arrived and they sent a pint worth of broth for both ramen... The noodles cant even be submerged to cook properly 😒
Its disappointing to see something I normally love short us on broth.
