The staff is very friendly and warm, the menu is just enough and everything we ate was really good.
This is our favorite neighborhood spot . Our kids love their noodle bowls and us parents love that we can have a good cocktail , listen to old bangers and slurp down a yummy meal ourselves in a relaxed atmosphere environment .
Great place for monthly lunch with client. Consistently good quality and service.

2nd time coming to RAMEN-SAN, first time at this location though so totals up to two. Service/waiter was good he recommended some dishes and was quick with questions when needed. I got the chicken shio ramen and it was delicious and filling with the Windy City of Chicago blowing. Will be back when I’m in Chicago!

The team and waiter were amazing! Every dish was delicious, will have to return to try more.
This was our 2nd time visiting Ramen San, but our first in the Fulton Market location. Our experience in the Lincoln Park location (1st one) was superb, which led us to consider trying a different location. Big mistake. We had a 7:30 pm reservation. When we walked in, we could see the chaos, which included the hostess helping with tables. The manager also running in different directions. We patiently waited for 30 minutes, when the manager approached us. He apologized for the delay, and offered a round of drinks on the house while we waited. We accepted and I think that this was a good way to show that they cared. Unfortunately, that patience was starting to wear thin when we waited roughly another 15-20 minutes for our table - so total 45-50 minutes wait. When we sat down, the waitress was very eager to help. So eager that she was constantly asking us if we were ready to order our main course, when in fact, the appetizers where also delayed roughly 20 more minutes. By the 3rd time I asked her to be more patient with us about the main course, because not only the appetizers had not arrived yet, but we had waited 50 minutes for our table, so why are they in rush mode with us now. She apologized and relaxed a bit, allowing us to enjoy our experience. Our food was excellent, as usual; the drinks were great, the ambiance fantastic....even the waitress' service, aside from the issue above, was great. I really would love to give this experience 5 stars, but not this time. We will return soon, but will reconsider which location to go to next time.
Food was delicious and our server was fun, engaging and really offered great suggestions on what we should try given it was our first time here.
