Can’t vote on the food so 4 but I live a block away and this local bar hasn’t caused issues as far as I know. Drinks are good and cheap, tenders work their butts off, ppl are laid back, mind their business unless engaged - best of all 100% doggy friendly! This is a NWS neighborhood not WP or RN, so our expectations are different and Rex’s definitely meets them. Respectful and still have that local bar atmosphere.

I'm at Rex's frequently and the bartenders Chivo and Jane and others are fantastic! They are so personable and can make any delicious beverage under the sun. Service and hospitality are more than 5-stars. For food, order one of their tasty frozen pizzas - a great deal for $10!

Always a receptive place before, but last time I went there, the owner of the place Ginger denied water to a customer who brings other people and more clientele to her own bar!? Shame on you Ginger, that wasn't nice of you. Exactly this week, that is Women’s Day, and I'm honoring all women from all over the world W a special event. Actually, it's very sad to see this coming from the owner of an establishment in our neighbor. Anyways... waiting for a public apologizing from you and the other waitress who treated a client like that, and see what you can offer back to compensate this bad behavior... I'm sorry, but 0 STARS if was possible this time!
