Love this place! Tacos-wise I’m a fan of the chicken tinga, butternut squash, cauliflower, and Baja fish. Service is friendly and efficient. The space itself is nice, too — spacious with lots of random greenery and artwork.

Some hits, some misses, overall a fine experience but nothing to rave about.
Appetizers - Refried beans had good flavor. Guacamole was fine but small for the price. plantains were pretty good, they come with lots of crema and cotija, and it was good cotija.
Tacos - Shrimp was good, the fish was the most bland thing I’d ever had with zero flavor. However it was because of that that I asked if they had any spicy salsa, and they brought out a thick red salsa that a great flavor and good heat to it. Definitely recommend over the underwhelming green salsa they gave us to start with. The chicken tinga was a solid option as well. All the tortillas had a nice texture, though I’d say the tacos were on the border of being too expensive for what you pay for.
Drinks - I don’t drink alcohol but others in my party ordered a few and they were good, but lacking any wow factor. Again, on the verge of not being worth $15 a piece.
Dessert - we split a churro bite sundae and it was probably my favorite part of the meal. The churros were well made and had a great flavor.
Ambiance - the restaurant is cute, and honestly the live music was a nice surprise for our group (not sure if it’s every night or just because we went on a Friday). At times it was a little hard to hear, but for the most part we were able to chat (loudly) without issue.
Service - our server was great, he checked in on us often and was quick to bring us what we needed. One of the best aspects of the experience.
Overall, it was a decent choice for a Friday not but not a place I’d rush back to unless in the immediate area

A medium-sized Mexican restaurant with live music. While the latter is good, the drinks were very weak.

The service was decent. The runner was very helpful and attentive, so thank you to him! Otherwise, for me this was the worst Mexican food I have ever had and if you are going to charge that much for your food, at least make it taste good. So disappointing. I rarely write reviews, but honestly, I walked out so frustrated with my meal that I had to. I had the enchilada’s verdes, which came with a full steak. The verde sauce was meh and no one asked me how I wanted my steak to be cooked. I didn’t understand that it was a full steak on the side of cheese enchiladas, so I didn’t ask. The steak was well done and low quality meat. I couldn’t even pretend to like it and left almost the whole steak uneaten. My mother had the tacos and she said the pastor taco was good, but she wouldn’t come back for one taco.

Probably one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. The tacos are particularly terrible, the drinks way too syrup-y sweet, and the pieces of dead, dried crickets garnished on my drink was sickening (intentionally put there- but NO warning on the menu). Service wasn’t great and the live music was pretty awful. Then comes the hefty bill for the low quality food and awful dining experience. This review is 9 months late, but I still think back on it and how miraculously bad the experience was.

Very good service. Decided to try it out while checking out an art fair. The food was great. Staff were super friendly also. Very happy to have this in the neighborhood.

I can’t say much about the food ,I had decent guacamole ,we also asked for the plantains which since we had arrived and after an hour we have order them they never got to our table .We asked two different servers two different times and nothing happened. We order a pitcher of margarita which tasted more like a fruity fresh drink than a cocktail. When we asked for the check we literally had to walk to the staff at the door to pay for our bill .We expressed our displeasure for the service and the waiter said he did take the plantains but to the wrong table .They got some plantains for us to take home but at this point the disappointment was bigger then our interest to try their food .

We got the pork belly taco and carne asada taco, carne asada quesadilla and chips and salsa. The food was delicious. Not super loud. Good music. Like 90s pop. I also had the cafe de olla, it was so tasty.
Chairs were wobbly and light so as a plus size lady I was worried but they held up. Its warm and cozy. Decent space between tables.
