Honest review from a born and raised Mexican. This place tastes like Mexico. The homemade tortillas, the chicken tinga, enfrijoladas (which I’ve never had any classic ones in the USA) and mezcalina were all amazing. It just tastes like home.
Service was polite, friendly and fast.
The restaurant it self is welcoming, clean and nicely decorated.
I love that it is a family owned and operated restaurant. It is definitely showcased in the experience.

Best tacos in Chicago. I can’t decide which is my favorite: Baja fish, cauliflower with mole, or mushroom with queso and garlic…they’re all delicious. And the guacamole with pistachios, cranberries and feta cheese is fabulous!
