I ate some green and red chicken tamales from here, and they were delicious. I'm assuming they're authentic because I know Mexican people who go here. And my husband grew up with tamales and likes them as well. It proves once again that if you want good tamales, go to the South Side.
Oxc tamales are the best ... They are wrap on banana leaves.. the best in town

Great homemade tamales 🫔
Green chicken tamales are my favorite ones and red pork tamales are really good too, but the Oxaqueños tamales 🫔 are the bomb 💣

The pork tamales were super dry.
Always a pleasure getting my tamales from this location
People are nice I like the place and I ordered strawberry tamales they are amazing I woke up today and had work and was like I’m kinda hungry so I decided to get food and I got atole and it was spectacular
I am very disappointed in the quality of service of not only the food but the costumer service. When biting into my tamale I noticed something strange in my food, upon zooming into it with my phone I noticed a cooked ant into the maza. This is not the first time something had happened when ordering I keep trying to give them another chance but this was my last time trying . When calling to inform they did not believe and asked us to go to back with proof, took all the tamales plus the one with the ant and they did not believe me , the lady said it was not possible and scratched the piece of maza of trying to say it wasn't there but it was clearly cooked into it. Her excuse was that it has never happened before but when looking at reviews its not the first time. Got my money back but the lady was very rude. Sadly lost a customer
Fast and delicious

Excellent tamales...the red ones are good, but the green ones are delicious. They also serve menudo on the weekends... redefining, "yummy". Este tamaleria es sabroso!

Our usual spot is closed so we picked up tamales from here. We haven’t been here in a while. Now I remember why. The tamales are SO DRY. They were so hard to swallow. What a waste of masa and tamales as they are not even palatable. So sad. Will never be returning.

We liked the tamales until today when we bought a green dozen with large champurrado and when we opened the first tamale it had a cockroach. I couldn't believe it and to go to that place so far away for me to come out with their dirty things. I asked to speak to the person in charge and no one came out to show their face and the cashier didn't know what to say or do. What he did say was not to roast them there in that place. And I have photos and video. And I returned my entire order. And from seeing the reviews on Google I realized that this is not the first time this has happened. I hope the 3 locations are more careful with what they serve, especially where they are located.

Well, just finished buying a dozen of tamales the red ones flavored and not to pleased the meat was cut in cubes the size of cheese the and they dried quickly. we called and complained and she said oh people love our tamales never had a complaint. OK well no need to argue just let the public decide. Never again
