Definitely family owned. For that reason, the atmosphere is nostalgic and homey to me with a little kid playing games and watching videos at one of the tables with the staff. My friends and I met here for dessert after a long day of walking around in the heatwave and the staff were very nice. They ordered the strawberry layer cake and blueberry cheesecake and some of the buns, of which everyone enjoyed their selections. They only took cash, as a note.
The deserts and drinks I got were good and the service was so pleasant and nice. The atmosphere was small but appropriate for the crowd level. I be going back for my tea & desert.
Some of the friendliest faces in Chinatown! Classic comforting cafe food, strong milk tea, and great prices. I wish they had more types of Chinese doughnuts and hot soy milk but they already have great variety and quality.
