I wanted to give this place 1 star because of how horrible the experience was leading up to being seated. Specifically, we had a reservation for 7 pm, we arrived at 650 and were told we couldn’t be seated until 745. After waiting 45 minutes they then told us we couldn’t be seated until 8, and then again were told we couldn’t until 815. Keep in mind, we had a reservation(!!). Also, we were a large group of about 12 people, so we wouldn’t have been able to find another place to eat without having a reservation. However, the chefs and wait staff made up for the experience. The food was also good. Overall, a worthwhile hibachi restaurant as long as they don’t make you wait 2 hours.

I have been to this place too many times to count. The sushi and teppenyaki are amazing. The drinks are on point. It perfectly walks the line of casual and nice to not over step either too much. You can do a date night or bring your kids for lunch, that is how versatile this place js!

Came in for lunch for the eat all you can. Sushi and rolls came in a bit late. Server was helpful.
We love the food. White tuna and salmon sushi, crab rangoon was authentic, the hibachi chicken noodles were also good.

It's hard to keep track of how many times I've been to Sakura Teppanyaki & Sushi! The food is just so good, and the portions are incredibly generous! The set meals, priced between $30+ and $40+, are such a steal – they each come with a vegetable salad, two grilled shrimp, vegetable and mushroom soup, stir-fried noodles, fried rice, plus your choice of a main dish! Seriously amazing value. And the staff are so attentive; they're always ready to help with anything right away. They even host birthday gatherings there, and the atmosphere is fantastic! Definitely a strong recommendation!

The teppanyaki is mostly in the form of set meals. You can choose from a variety of combinations such as beef, chicken, shrimp, salmon, scallops, etc. Each set meal comes with a serving of fried rice, teppanyaki vegetables, salad, and soup. It's very filling. You can also order some sushi, which will be brought to your table once ready.

Once all the orders are placed, the chef will come up with his small cart of ingredients and ask about the details, such as how well you want your steak cooked and whether you want chicken in your fried rice. Then the show begins. He'll play around with the teppanyaki spatula, make some flames, and perform the usual teppanyaki routine.

(The pre-meal ceremony was quite elaborate. The waiter was very detailed in his explanations when taking our orders. From the time we sat down to when the chef started cooking, I think it was about 20 minutes.)

We really enjoyed going here for a lunch. It was not too busy at the time, and we chose to do hibachi (the chef had a great sense of humor, excellent cooking technique, and a welcoming attitude).

I can’t stop raving about this place! From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff made us feel instantly welcome. The decor was charming—cozy lighting, tasteful music, and just the right level of buzz without being noisy. The food? Absolutely outstanding. We ordered the mango shrimp roll and it was cooked to perfection—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly stood out was the service. Our server, was attentive without being intrusive. She gave the pink drinks even checked back to ensure we loved every bite. Little touches like a complimentary dessert for our anniversary made the day extra memorable. If you’re looking for a place with soul, delicious food, and a team that genuinely cares, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I ate here for lunch and they told us their kid menu does not exist anymore. We ate here several times, ordered a kid meal, and there’s nothing that says it no longer exists. We have 2 small children and they said we couldn’t get it for them to share and forced us to get a regular meal. It was never about the cost, it was about wasting food that we knew our kids wouldn’t eat. There was an automatic tip added to the order as well. This was unfortunate because we typically tip more than the amount that was automatically added. I hate to bring race into this but it is what it is.
