Scooter's Frozen Custard

A sad day when Scooters closes for the winter but we add their spring opening date to our calendar each spring. Scooter's is our favorite place for frozen custard. The menu has great variety but we always seem to go back to our favorites. We particularly like the walk up window during the summer.

Has the great feeling of a family run place, great atmosphere and staff are super friendly. Can be busy in the summer but they move people through the line quickly

Had a friend recommend we try Scooter’s, and it was so worth it! Tried their seasonal strawberry oreo flavor - 10/10, the concrete was so good

This establishment is an excellent choice for enjoying ice cream. However, I highly recommend walking to the location, as parking at the Walgreens across the street may result in your vehicle being booted shortly after you leave the premises.

Parking: For your convenience, I recommend walking to the location, as double parking is not advisable due to limited wait times. Additionally, please be aware that parking in the Walgreens lot may result in your vehicle being booted immediately upon your departure. The Walgreens parking lot has staff monitoring for violations, and if your vehicle is booted, you will be required to pay an on-site fee to have the boot removed. Otherwise, your vehicle may be towed.

The only reason this is not five stars is we had a crazy rude teenager Customer Service experience!

The custard is awesome I got the banana fudge sundae added strawberries it was great (pictured) and my two friends and their kid head Sundaes and a shake

But something random happened we’re inside ordering literally just going through the four things all four of us wanted and this seemingly teenage girl behind the counter was giving us an angry look and attitude the whole time she seemed pissed off - which really made no sense we just walked up it was our turn to order and started ordering we weren’t taking long at all like it wasn’t like we didn’t know we wanted we had already waited in line and figured out what we wanted. we had a little boy with us that changed his mind and he wanted chocolate sprinkles instead of normal sprinkles as his mom is changing that one piece this girl throws a fit and walks away and another girl comes over clearly like having to cover for this other crazy angry girl and finishes taking order. I literally almost said something but my buddy told me just to ignore it and let it go because she’s a teenager and we want to get our ice cream

Then the angry girl went and made my Sundae and when it was ready held it out literally behind my back as I’m standing there at the counter and screams the top of her lungs - twice as I’m standing in front of her knowing that’s my Sundae that she made just a few seconds after I ordered it. When I turn my head she’s looking at me and screams it again After she handed to me she stormed out of the store and apparently went on a break and went across the street

I know these are teenagers but they have this kind of attitude storm off in the middle of an order and then storm off for your break is ridiculous - I even asked the nicest Hispanic girl who took over for her what is going on with this other girl and she said she doesn’t know she apologized on her behalf and I said it’s not your fault- but that was crazy

The layout is not great, very confusing, because the toppings are listed on the wall but then the basic ingredients are right at the counter - it also doesn’t say that it’s 1.50$ PER TOPPING until they already made my sundae so I had to pay too much… The vanilla custard is also tasteless, I’m not sure why this is considered a great place. Hope they make the layout better and LIST THE PRICE!

Loved the Elvis concrete and it is big enough to share. Parking is tricky but DON'T PARK at Walgreens as there is a parking maid who literally lies in wait for you to return to a boot and a fine.
