Went to pick up an order my wife placed on Wednesday September 10th around 1:30PM. Although I wasn’t in for long the staff seemed pretty friendly and the restaurant was a pretty nice place. My wife ordered 2 burgers and some nuggets. This was my only meal that day and I got through half of my tasty burger however, I started feeling pretty bad symptoms a few hours in. 2 hours in I started developing dizziness, then a low fever, next thing I know I was laying in pain holding my abdomen. The next day I was stuck in my bathroom for hours. I ended up needing to go to the hospital to get excused for the 4 days of work I was about to miss. I don’t have a weak stomach as I traveled often and eaten foods from foreign countries and never have gotten sick from it. My wife was fine and she finished her burger. I don’t know what was wrong with my burger. I don’t know if an employee forgot to wash their hands, if my burger was undercooked, or if they performed some kind of health code violation with my burger, all I know is that I got pretty bad food poisoning from it and that I should probably report it.

I ordered pick up. From order to pick up is about 20 minutes. When we got home, my daughter told me there is no chicken bites in the order! I called the store and requested a refund on the missing items. I do not get any emails or notification on refund is issued. I spoke with the store manager who told me will issue a refund for the missing chicken bites.

Shake Shack rates to me first for its cleanliness. An added bonus was the refreshing positive service of the female cashier, who helped me process my late afternoon custard treat, and told me about the seasonal Dubai Shake- I will be back for it and the line staff from the young man who greeted me to Adamiron who presented me with my order. Fortunate to the owner/manager who assembled this trio. When you have cleanliness, quality food and great professional, I want to be there service, you have my business.
Majority of the time their goofy site doesn't work especially if they have a discount or promotion. It will just continue in an endless loop refreshing and wasting your time. Just go somewhere else. Much better chicken places including next door to them. Their site has had a lot of hackings, so it's better to just not bother.

Just had the most amazing meal at Shake Shack in the West Loop! I tried the avocado bacon chicken sandwich, and it was seriously mouth-watering. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and the avocado and bacon combo was *chef's kiss*.
And let's talk about the cheese fries—crispy, cheesy, and totally addictive. Everything was so delicious; but what really made the experience great was the awesome customer service. Iridian was super helpful and friendly!
