Mrs. Q had: a cup of Lobster Bisque soup. Dinner: Both had: Delicious Sauteed Soft Crabs. Q's Shared dessert: Shaw's treated us to Creme Brulee for our anniversary celebration. Shaw's has some of the best Oysters/Clams. Fresh, Fresh & Fresh were the Oysters, delicious Bisque Soup, bread & dinner entrees. Q-Tips say: Shaw's is one of the best Seafood, Sushi & Steak Restaurants around Chi-Town. You don't find Seafood any fresher than at Shaw's. Best Lobster Bisque Soup and awesome Sautéed Soft Shell Crab when in season. Mrs. Q says: The downtown area was humming with many people out and about enjoying the beautiful Gay Pride festivities, dining & shopping scene in Chi-town.

My wife and I went there for our 20 Anniversary and they didn't disappoint us service from Dominick was allsome. I tried Oysters for the first time they were great dinner was wonderful and they paid for dessert, we will be back! Thanks Dominick.

You get what you pay for at Shaw's! This is a favorite anniversary place for us and we are never disappointed. Husband had a haddock dish that was superb! I had the Norwegian king crab legs ($150!) and they were so sweet and easy to remove the meat. So delicious and rich! Can't do it often but once a year is a real treat. They gave us a complimentary slice of their scrumptious chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary...and no singing!😜

We had an awesome dinner, perfect martinis, with exceptional service. The oysters, seafood salad, and lobster roll were delicious. Our server made the evening fun and extra special. We'll definitely be back.

Shaws Crab House is a consistently excellent seafood restaurant. The service is excellent and the waiter said “anything is possible” when we asked for specific food items or serving size modifications. The variety of seafood served is excellent as is the quality. The shrimp were delicious in a cocktail and also as an appetizer. The fresh fish is wonderfully prepared and served with sauce on the side if you request it. The steak is excellent if you don't want seafood. The key lime pie was delicious and slightly tart with the thinnest lime zest adornment. All in all we have never been disappointed with Shaw's and highly recommend it!

The hostess was very rude. I wanted to enjoy dinner with my son so I decided not to complain. She told me, not asked, that I would be sitting in the oyster bar area. I reserved a table in the main dining area. She then set U.S. at an extremely small table. I'm sure it was on purpose Va sue I noticed her sitting other two party groups at larger tables. The restaurant has gone down hill over time and today was the icing on the cake.
Jesus is a real pro. He is one of the best servers in the city. He always make us feel special. He is a great asset to Shaw's and LEYE.

Solid place with an old-time-y feel to it. Portion size leaves a bit to be desired, but if you don't mind the noise, it's a fun time in the bar/hightop area. Service is really good; Mario the assistant waiter gave us great service and everyone was very pleasant.
