I came here during restaurant week and this place did not disappoint! From the appetizer to the last dish was good. Gumbo, shrimp fettuccine, chocolate cake and crème brûlée…EXCELLENT!
W love Shaw's and dine there with some regularity. Service is always good. Oysters are always a hit. I usually order the same thing but decided to try the deep fried red snapper. Fish was perfectly cooked but sauce was too spicy to eat. I couldn't eat the part of fish where sauce was on top. It would have been nice to be told just how spicy sauce was. I would not have ordered it. And needed a steak knife to cut fish and could have used some help with cutting the fish....
Our server Valdomar was absolutely fantastic as was our oysters and my dungeoness carb was ok as it is out of season, my wife's clam chowder and sons lobster bisque with lobster roll was delicious!
