I’ve worked in the food industry so I understand when things get busy and service is a little slow. This was different. The outdoor bar at Sheffield’s was a mess. My friends and I waited over 30 minutes and I talked with other groups, including a dad and son and a husband and wife, who eventually just gave up and said they were leaving to go somewhere they could actually get served. What really bothered me wasn’t even the slow bartender, it was his girlfriend. She was hanging out at the edge of the bar and snapped at me, “watch your mouth, that’s my boyfriend,” when I made a casual comment about the wait. She even mouthed off to other paying customers who were just as frustrated. Later, that same bartender who had been dragging with everyone else suddenly perked up to pour shots for her and her friend. I even have a photo. Slow service happens and I get that. Letting your girlfriend sit at the bar, confront customers, and then get special treatment is unprofessional.
This place seemed like just another bar scene until you walked through. We sat outside at the picnic benches, everyone was very friendly. The food though, so flavorful, presentation & portion size 10/10 👌 HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE BRISKET w/sweet potato fries.

Good bar atmosphere with a strong bar menu to match. We ordered fried pickles, nachos, sweet potato fries, and Mac and cheese to split. Everything was good but the only downside was that the pork nachos were cold by the time we got them and there seemed to be very little cheese on them. The sweet potato fries were amazing! Service was quick and friendly here!

Excellent bar/restaurant in the Wrigleyville area. They have a wide selection of craft beers on tap along with an extensive menu with a little something for everyone.
It’s also a great pre-game location if you have a concert at The Vic since it’s only two blocks away.

Sheffield’s is awesome. Their smoked wings are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. I make it a point to stop in whenever I’m in Chicago.

Stopped by Sheffield’s on a sunny Saturday, dropped about $35 on a pulled pork sandwich, fried green tomato sliders, and a couple of cold drafts. The pulled pork was juicy with a nice smoky kick, and those sliders? Straight fire, crispy, tangy, and just the right bite. Patio was packed but the vibe was chill, and the staff kept it moving. Only knock: a little slow on the refills, but I’ll be back for sure.
