Was absolutely blown away with how much I enjoyed my meal here. The thing I couldn't get over was how kind and understanding the wait staff was. At no point did I feel rushed or forgotten about. The rooftop was a great vibe, the food was delicious. 2 plates for each person was the right amount, we left satisfied and happy. Will definitely return! I loved the cocktail #2, the chicken shawarma hummus, potatoes, and all the grilled meats.

Our waiter, Kal, was phenomenal! He provided excellent recommendations and coursed our meal perfectly. We recommend the falafel, duck, halloumi, and lamb! For dessert we had the semifredo which was also incredible! We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful experience thanks to our waiter, Edgar. He took great care of us from start to finish—always attentive without being overbearing. He made excellent recommendations that we truly enjoyed, and his friendly, approachable personality made the whole evening even better. Edgar really elevated our dining experience!

We celebrated my girlfriend's 21st birthday here during happy hour. It was an amazing experience and the staff was so nice.
Mediocre on all fronts: aesthetics, food, drinks, and [slow] service. They add 4% for some reason and an additional 20% for gratuity.

For a fantastic night out in Chicago, you can't go wrong with Sifr. The Halal food is very impressive, with every dish being delicious, flavorful, and incredibly well-priced.
My only minor critique of Sifr is the lack of recognition for special occasions. During my visit, my party mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday, and while the service was excellent all night, there was no complimentary dessert or any small gesture to mark the occasion. While this wasn't a dealbreaker—as the atmosphere and food more than made up for it—a small acknowledgment would have made the evening feel a little more memorable.
Despite this, Sifr is a place I'll definitely be returning to and highly recommend for a wonderful evening.

Incredible experience from beginning to end. The beverages were outstanding in presentation and flavor combinations.
The food was equally satisfying. The dishes were satisfying to the eyes, nose, and palate. The ingredients were fresh and the food options were plentiful. Great variety of meat/ vegetarian options. The service was immaculate. The servers were attentive and dishes were removed and silverware was reset with each course. 10/10 recommend Sifr for a great food and beverage experience. The price is fair for the food quality and service.

Incredible Experience, incredible quality and plating for the price and totally worth the experience. The chef was incredible, and all the staff treated us excellently. The vegetarian and meat selection was vast and the tasting menu is priced extremely fairly for the experience. Worth It.

Sifr is not Mediterranean, even if they try to be. They aren't very generous at all, which is what is supposed to be expected for such high prices. It looks nice, and the ambience and service is on point, but the food misses the mark. A couple pieces of lamb and chicken over some very bland rice is very disappointing. The labneh in the mezza appetizer and the pita bread were great but that's about it. The main issue is the lack of generosity and bland entrees.

As a middle eastern man the food is not middle eastern it’s more Indian and the quantity for the food isn’t great either you pay 40$ for a small very small

Extremely overrated and overpriced. This platter below was 4 chicken pieces and 4 lamb chomps and some of the worst rice I’ve ever had. The cost was $130. For $40 you get a 1/8th cup of hummus and few very small portions of variety’s. For spending almost $300 this was absolutely awful.
