Their food was so good through Uber Eats, I had to visit in person.

We were in CHI for my husband to have a kidney transplant and needed food with fresh ingredients to nurse him back to health. I found this gem and they didn't disappoint.

I ALWAYS get the shrimp salad, hubby gets the salmon salad with chicken. You can have it jerked or not. Either way ~ DELISH!!!!! But wait, there's more.....

The grilled chicken Caesar wraps ~ Baybeeeeee.....

And then, as if they needed to win me over any more..... the chicken pot pie. Whew weeeeee it warms the soul. Y'all need that during the CHI's cold winters. They slap in the nice weather too.

I got to meet the owner. She was sweet and very kind. The staff is uber friendly and the space is clean and welcoming.

Today I drove from the south suburbs and was left with a bad taste in my mouth with how rude the owner was and I really love there food it was something as simple as peppers being added on my salad being that I forgot I simple asked could she just added them on my salad and she said 75 cent when I usually get them added it was me and two other customers who thought that was very inconsiderate because she had a fake attitude when I walked in it’s was no greet just “WHAT YOU WANT “ type of attitude but I will never return because this is the second time she just give mean and angry type of spirit and it’s always black owned owneers sorry to say my people to cocky and not humble but the energy is what was over related and I really didn’t care about the peppers but damn after I decide to purchase a lemonade just because man please 😎

Just tried Simplys Soup Salads & Sandwiches today for the first time - the reviews were right, this place was really good! I had the Pick 2 Lunch special with 1/2 sandwich and soup - both were fantastic, super flavorful and satisfying. Service was also super fast and attentive. I am definitely going back to try all the other options!

Babaaaaaaaay!!!! I dont live in this area im visiting family and I decided to get something a little healthy today.. worth every dime! I got the spicy tuna... listen... it is sooooooo good!!! The tea and lemonade mixed.. im ready to go slap somebody's momma! Its sweet but flavorful!!! I WILL BE BACK... please dont change NOTHING!!...see ya soon!!

ordered food from here on the most recent coldest day of the year! (1/23/26) and this lovely spot was open when all other businesses were closed! have to say the food here is so so so good!! decent prices, not too expensive and the amount of food you get is enough to fill you up! I ordered the turkey wrap and it was so delicious, the woman that runs the store is so lovely and nice, please make sure to bring cash tip as you’re not able to tip on your card, but this place is great! I highly recommend going here, you won’t be disappointed!!
