Lovely place, the crowd a mix of regulars and some hipsters. The tap selection is delightful, and the Po Boy is freaking delicious. And who can say no to take a whizz on the oldest urinals in Chicago? A bit pricey compared to your average dive bar, but worth it from time to time. Also, you are supporting employee-owners, and a place that gives a forum to local musicians and artists.

If you're looking for a chill spot with good vibes, Skylark's the place. It’s a cash-only joint with an awesome selection of craft beers, and they’ve got some solid pub food to go with it. I went for the tater tots (crispy and cheesy, y’all) and the classic Skylark burger, which hit the spot. The retro rec-room decor gives it a laid-back feel, and the photo booth is a fun touch for some goofy pics with your crew. I spent about $25 for two beers, the tots, and the burger, and honestly, it was worth every penny. The live music was a nice bonus, too. Definitely my new go-to for a fun night out!
