If you're looking for a chill spot with good vibes, Skylark's the place. It’s a cash-only joint with an awesome selection of craft beers, and they’ve got some solid pub food to go with it. I went for the tater tots (crispy and cheesy, y’all) and the classic Skylark burger, which hit the spot. The retro rec-room decor gives it a laid-back feel, and the photo booth is a fun touch for some goofy pics with your crew. I spent about $25 for two beers, the tots, and the burger, and honestly, it was worth every penny. The live music was a nice bonus, too. Definitely my new go-to for a fun night out!

Super cool atmosphere, loved looking into all the memorabilia on the walls and educating myself on the history of the things I found.

This was probably the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant of any type. So bad that it made me write my first ever google review. The service was so god awful that we ended up leaving and going down the street to Pleasant Pub. The waitress and bartender were extremely rude and unfriendly. The atmosphere felt like a moldy library, and the bathroom had recent suicide notes. If you ever think of going here, go one street over and have a muuuuuch better experience.

Love the skylark always, but even more now! Don't know how that's possible. Good people. good ambiance. Real. And... they have letherbee gin! My favorite! My kinda bar, period.

It’s what you’d expect. Vintage interior decor, cash only. No TV’s, plenty of group seating.

Skylark is the quintessential Pilsen dive bar that keeps me coming back. Their potato and cheese pierogies with housemade apple sauce and sour cream are a must-try at just $8. Pair that with a Half Acre Daisy Cutter pint for $6, and you're set. The ambiance is laid-back with a retro rec-room vibe, and the staff is always welcoming. Whether you're there for the live music or just to chill, Skylark never disappoints. Just remember, it's cash-only, so hit up an ATM beforehand.
