Yeah... definitely racist. 0/10 would not recommend. Went from "Thursdays are a private event" you can't go in to this mostly empty post-covid trashy club to "ok cover is $10" as soon as more white people showed up. Cool.

Cool bar with fatty food! It was my first experience at Butter which entailed a couple of beers, mac n' cheese, and cheesy tots. I will def check it out again sometime.

Great Bar. Drinks are tasty as heck. Jai is the most fun and caring bartender ever. He will take care of you! the food is a great help soak all the booze you will drink. And Roger Niner Karoke on sundays? Hell yeah

Racists. Cousins visited me in 2017 when I was living in Chicago (I know, super late review, but was just reminded of this). We (four girls) had just left three dots and a dash and saw this on the way out, and this trashy bar that looked empty didn't let us in but let the white people in that were walking up right as we got turned away. I've never been barred from entry in my LIFE... Anyways, it was disgusting and embarrassing this happened to me and my beautiful fam when they were visiting. I wish I vetted this place so it didn't impact their visit. Needless to say, they went back to NYC unimpressed and still s*** on Chicago for this. I hope this place gets shut down. Honestly disturbing that people would still support them. Look at the reviews, our experience was clearly not an isolated incident. This place just IS racist. Get it together.

Writing this review for my boyfriend- THE REVIEWS ARE ALL TRUE! THEY ARE RACIST! He (Latino) was wearing dress pants, dress shoes, and a polo, and they did not let him in because he "wasn't dressed properly".. but others (white people) were dressed down and were let in. Hopefully this place gets shut down for good.

Very bad experience. Usually this club closes around 4 am on weekends and this is a RACIST CLUB !!!!. Only allows WHITE people. Yes, you heard me correctly. Bouncers standing in front of the club doesn't even respect people at all and shouting on us. Its' time to change the management and security during this valuable time or else SHUT IT DOWN...

Security on 3/6 carded my friend and said told her "this ID was 2 years ago, 30 pounds ago". I'm just not sure the logic behind this. It was brought up to management and they didn't address the concern at all.
Such a fun night every Friday or Saturday night. Live music until 12, then the real party begins! Such a great vibe with beautiful people

If you want a place that refuses people because they're specifically a different race, you can do blow in the bathroom as long as you tip the attendant, they treat their good employees like trash in favor of the owners son's friends, put paying customers on the wait list for those nonpaying friends, discriminate against Indian (hindu), Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc), and African Americans if they don't look like they'll spend money, you can get away with almost anything in the VIP Bottle Service booths as long as you lucratively tip the bouncers, lets in underage people regularly, looks at foreign people as inferior, and is more concerned with money than quality customer service, then this is the place for you

Don't think I've ever seen a such a terrible staff. The bouncers and security were incredibly rude. At one point, one of the giant bouncers rammed into my very small friend while he was walking through the club. I dont understand why this place still has business.

My friends and I experienced RACIAL DISCRIMINATION at this club! It was my cousins birthday, and we ended up at this place. Upon arrival, the doorman (tall heavy set white guy) told us that it was 20 dollars per person to get in. We decided that was reasonable, and waited outside for the rest of our group to arrive (other beautiful black women)...While waiting he tells a group of white guys that ladies are actually free entry...when we ask him about it he switches back to the lie he initially told us, $20 per person.We decide to brush it off, and just pay the $20 since it was my cousins birthday, and we just wanted her to have a good time.When the rest of our group arrived he changed the "entry requirement" now it was "VIP TABLES ONLY". however they let multiple groups of white men and women in with NO MENTION of VIP or a table! This was clearly discrimination!This was the only club in the area playing hip-hop music, yet they discriminate against people of color?!Reading the reviews of this establishment further confirmed what I've already concluded. Social Twenty-Five is a disgustingly racist club. I will be reporting to the Better business bureau!
