Idk what these reviews are talking about. Ordered @ 7:30AM donuts came didn’t seem fresh at all. They are so tiny compared to other places @ the same price point (fire cakes, do rite, dunk). The ube was the star of the show, definitely overhyped mid.

Delicious donuts!! Great service. It is a rarity to have a peanut and tree nut free bakery…even more rare to taste so good!! We will definitely be back any chance we get. We highly recommend this sweet shop!!!
Huge selections of donuts at a great price. Ran by some really nice people.

Somethin’ Sweet Donuts is a fantastic immigrant-owned business to support and an essential stop for anyone in Albany Park. Fresh & well-made donuts - the matcha and Ube donuts are especially great flavors to try, and they don’t skimp on the filling! The new location on Montrose is a gorgeous space, full of thoughtful decor and family photos. Their coffee is also 10/10 - so citrus-y and balanced. It’s sourced from Big Shoulders, a woman-owned coffee supplier in Chicago, so you can support two great businesses at once. They’re also nut-free - great for folks with nut allergies. Can’t recc this place enough!

Wow! One of the best Bavarian creams I've ever had, the apple claw was great too, the glazed part was mind blowing! The cinnamon one was really good too just overshadowed by the others! 10$ for 3 high quality donuts, fair price, highly recommend . Not enough donut shops in Chicago haha

I ordered Iced Vanilla latte on doordash. It was my perfect cup of coffee. They made it just perfect with delicious blend of vanilla and caffeine. Highly recommend!!!

Great donut and iced latte selection. Loved the pride donuts during pride month! And the cutest family runs this shop- and takes great pride in it. Looking forward to trying those churro donuts next!

Now that’s the way a donut should taste!
Great place, just a shame that it's so much more expensive than the major chains nearby. I really want to support it more, but when you're paying over $2 more for the same drink you can get at the Starbucks it's hard.
Very tasty cherry doughnut!
It’s good but costly ! I don’t know when I’m searching vegan it’s showing up. But they don’t have anything Vegan.
What I noticed about this Albany Park establishment, is that it’s a neghborhood staple. Many people come in here weekly with their families, prior to starting their Saturday festivities.
First thing you notice is that their offerings are unique to the owner’s heritage. Matcha and ube (purple yam) filled bismark donuts are a specialty. But even their regular donuts are very good!!
This is a big winner, but there are some places that I feel are just as good if not slightly better. That’s not to say that if I lived closer that this would not be my “go to”.
A solid 4.5⭐️s. Owners and staff are very friendly and accommodating. If ever in this area again, will try more of their baked goods!
