I wish I could say I had a better experience given it’s a neighborhood spot, but to pay $70 for a mediocre omelette, breakfast sandwich and 2 coffees is highway robbery! Not to mention our waitresses’ attitude when asked basic questions about the food and the fact that my food came out incorrect the first time. Save your $ and time!
Bright and fresh grocery cafe on Southport corridor. As people who are typically occupied during the day, my partner and I were really excited to finally try this place out. The service was absolutely phenomenal. I wish I remembered her name, but she was enthusiastic and helpful. I got the brisket and gravy and 🤩 it lives up to the hype. My partner got the chicken salad sandwich with this soup… I forgot exactly what it was, I think it was a vegetarian chili? The sandwich...
Food is average and although portions are adequate, prices seem a bit high. Service was extremely slow considering the few customers seated for the two servers working. Might have been a kitchen problem once the order was taken, but it also took a while to get to the table to take the order. Thankfully we weren’t in a hurry.
