The platonic ideal of a sports bar. TVs as far as the eye can see. The management and staff are friendly and accommodating if you want to watch a terrible out-of-market team.

Parking: Street parking on Milwaukee is usually cutthroat and the side streets are permitted. If you can, take public transit.

Kid-friendliness: It's a bar, but I've seen people bring their kids in.

Came here for UFC… they don’t take card for the $10 cover (it’s 2024 and we’re in the most advanced country in the world lol, why no cards?)… bouncers made us run around to hit a few ATMs before we gave up…

Amazing place! We came from Kansas City for the weekend we stumbled upon this place and I couldn’t have been happier with the staff and service, we had Alex as our server and he was great! Felt right at home with him

There weren't many people there on the day we stopped because of a festival going on. Which I'm happy with. The service was amazing and I would go back. The wings were good and the beer on tap was nice and cold.

Went to Standard Bar and Grill and had a couple of beers with my son and wife. We were visiting Chicago for a couple of days.
Can't speak about the food as we didn't order any but what I did see look pretty good. Service was very very good from a woman named Diane. Miller light drafts for only $5 each! It was fairly crowded as it was the opening Friday night of WICKER FEST.

A group of us recently visited standard and tried to grab a bite to eat. the experience was disappointing. Despite the place not being packed and there being plenty of open tables, they insisted on a $10 cover charge for entry since a ufc fight was on. There was 6 of us which would have been $60 just to get SEATED! It was only 6:00pm! This fee seemed unnecessary and unwelcoming given the ample seating available. The atmosphere didn't justify the charge, and it felt like a blatant money grab. I expected better customer service and a more inviting experience. I wouldn't recommend it to others. I could go to Buffalo Wild Wings and get the same fight with no cover charge.

I’m not a huge sports bar fan but the staff here is amazing! The food is delicious and I felt very welcome. Definitely worth checking out!

Great games on TV, but no water to start and at most bars is mostly customary but the burger was over cooked asked med and got well done and im not one to complain but that was my only comments on a great night out w the wife
