Can anybody please explain to me why, out of nowhere, this location "temporarily" closed with no explanation or anticipated re-opening date? Like... this area is lacking as is. Get it together or at least give us an anticipated date span. Yikes. * Also, they turned off their Google reviews, which is the most unhelpful thing a business can do. *

1. this location disabled reviews for google, so hopefully people read yelp before going there 2. this location switched over to an "mobile order only" store, since when is that a thing?? they don't have a drive through and now they don't let you into the store, they make you stand outside and wait for you order. Half of the time they're mobile ordering is disabled which is why i typically make the trip to just order there. ridiculous.

Online orders go through well but the staff will happily ignore you when placing orders in person, then continuously get your drink wrong if you haven’t practiced exactly what you wanted to say. If you don’t say it right the first time, the manager who works the cash register will ignore whatever part of the order they feel like. Today I ordered a decaf coffee, they tell me they don’t have decaf (… at one of the busiest Starbucks in CHI), and that I could get an americano instead, so I say “great, let’s do that, iced and with a splash of oat milk”. I stupidly didn’t double check the order before giving it to my partner who is now flying on a caffeine adventure because they forgot the first part where I was only ordering an americano to get it decaf. This is not the first time things like this have happened. The store also likes to turn off online ordering when it is inconvenient.EDIT TO ADD: the employees making the drinks are great, it seems to just be the cashier(s) that cause people problems.

Friendly staff. No seating indoors or outdoors at this location. They were out of the spinach wrap but we were able to substitute for a bagel.

Honestly, I wouldn’t be going here if my normal place wasn’t under construction. I place the order in the app usually at least over 10 mins and it’s still never ready. The staff are nice, but they’re just slow or need more help here.

Omg , I can't believe I've never been here, it's so close to my house. They have parking that's a plus in ktown , great coffee and the place has indoor and outdoor patio , it's so cute. I will definitely come back

This location is okay, but needs better improvement, the two young ladies in the afternoons, needs to focus on making the drinks correctly instead of talking and paying attention.

2/1/22 11:03 Lyna & Gabrielle literally had a whole conversation while I stood waiting to order. A guy changing the trash had to tug at Gabrielles shirt to get her to take my order. Then to add insult to injury, Lyna was the person making my drink, however she didn't get started until the conversation was COMPLETE. Waves at management.

My friend and I came today to grab a couple of drinks and the guy who worked at the counter was nice, but the manager (I guess she is the manager of that store) started talking to him in a very rude way. She was criticizing him the whole time while the poor guy tried to remain his calm. She was not joking obviously because of the way she talked to him. My friend and I were shocked. That is not the way you approach your employees in front of a customer. She should have taken him aside and told him if he was doing something wrong and not in the tone she was talking to him obviously. Everybody deserves respect.

A little bit slower than the Michigan Ave. Location. Staff was polite but had run out of the ingredients to make my favorite tea beverage, which is why I crossed the street to purchase from the competition.
