This is the slowest Starbucks in the area. If you don’t mind waiting for your drink for at least 20 minutes then check it out. I literally left without my drink. Never coming back to this location.

Went in and had to wait 5 min for someone to even say hi to me because they were too busy talking and laughing with each other. Mind you I was the only one in line. After somebody finally taking my order, the girl who was making the drinks was actually doing her job instead of talking like everyone else, she was really friendly. After the guy finally gave me one of the bread I ordered he went back to take peoples order and of course he forgot to warm up my other bread because he was talking with his other coworkers instead of actually working. Every time I come here they’re always rude and they’re always talking instead of taking care of their customers. I worked in the food and drink industry for 10 years and trust me this is no way to treat customers.

Went in to get a refresher and ordered on the mobile app. Kinda glad I didn’t order in front, while I was waiting for my order I overheard the way the girl taking orders was speaking with the customers. She was extremely rude and had an attitude as she was taking orders. The other barista was super friendly though.

I had a simple doctor’s appointment at 259 E Erie with a family doctor and LSW from outer space. I could not get a cab out of that building. There is absolutely NO service in that high rise. But at Starbucks next door as crowded as it is you get a Chai latte or a cup of dark roast as you lick your wounds from being treated like a retarded personality. And Starbucks helps you with your favorite cab companies. There is no healthcare but you become a respected customer in a line that moves quickly and you get a clean table and a place to charge your electronics and you return to your normal self after your MD has questioned your sanity even though she doesn’t know how.I love Chicago; all its structure and beauty and Starbucks adds flavor (intense) and the regular customer service one is used too. The natural stuff; that part of life makes the unthinkable disappear.

This used to be my favorite Starbucks in the city. Tonight I went in to purchase some gift cards while the store was still open. I was sadly served by a barista named Ash who seems to dislike helping people. He scanned my first gift card and threw it right into the puddle of water on the counter. I asked him to please not do that and he just gave me a nasty look. Then a group of customers arrived behind me and he reminded them they close in 10 min. Last time I checked closing in 10 minutes still means you're open. I understand working in a service industry is difficult but I your bad day doesn't need to be your customers problem.

Staying at the hotel? Don’t expect to grab a quick black coffee. Expect a 20 minute wait or more. Mid day there will be 25 people standing and waiting for their order.

The worst service!! So slow waiting time for mobile orders are insane avoid ordering here!!!!! Get more staff!!!

The slowest Starbucks I've been to. There was one employee taking orders, one heating up the food and the other making drinks as possible. It took me over 20 minutes to get an iced black coffee, though the barista did apologize for the long wait.
