I loved this location. It was a short walk from the Cambria hotel that I was staying at. I went every morning during my trip to Chicago. The staff was so nice and friendly. Customer service was great! I actually visited the Starbucks Reserve Roastery on Michigan Avenue and Uber right back to this location because the service, staff and drinks were so better. Every interaction I had with the staff here was so pleasant.

The service at the Starbucks is AMAZING, I cannot remember the names, but there were two young ladies and a man there and they were absolutely awesome, especially the young Hispanic lady. I have a dairy allergy, and I went to a different Starbucks 3 blocks away from this store, and I specified when I ordered there about my dairy allergy, and even then directly advised the barista who prepared my drink. The gentleman barista seemed to be out of coconut milk so I watched him flinch and then put half 2% dairy milk into my drink, I saw him realize this and try to conceal which milk he was pouring. I couldn’t believe it because I watched the whole thing, but when he delivered my drink, I kindly just told him I’m sorry I cannot drink that because I would end up in bed all day. He got very upset and denied his actions, so I just had to leave because he was making a scene at me. I kept walking on my tour of Chicago and found this beautiful little Starbucks. It was not crowded, the staff greeted me and were very friendly, and when I mentioned my dairy allergy, the Hispanic young lady behind the counter said she also had that, and knew exactly how to prepare my drink! I even noticed her clean out the blender with hot water just to be careful, something I don’t request, but it was just her nice gesture. When I mentioned what happened to me three blocks away, their manager even comped my drink. Not necessary, as I’m a tourist here to spend money, but I was overwhelmed with their care and kindness, they took their customer service jobs seriously, and I am truly Grateful! Never been so cared for at a coffee shop. THANK YOU!!
I have visited this location a few times. It’s cool chilled but they need to clean the tables and sweep a little more there is always crumbs on the floor. You all don’t want any extra friends around(bugs, mice) I understand they may get busy during their downtime they should clean off the tables. Every time I am there I clean where I am sitting either it’s liquid or something sticky on them. Other than that no complaints!!

I used a bogo on Thursday was buy one get one free the matcha latte usually it’s being shaked at every other Starbucks that I ordered. However this barista blends it in a blender which was weird so there was a lot of foam and I got my drink half of it was foam and it’s a venti only got half of it. Very disappointing will not come back to this Starbucks. I took photos of it being untouched just holding the drink as time went by and it was down to this filled up with foam.
