Food was a 3 out of 10. Catfish bits were fried too hard and the wing dings were a big thumbs down too much batter. I know they were from a frozen bag, but quality could have been a lot better, need a new vendor for them. Jambalaya was too salty. Service was poor, charged for 2 entrees but only ordered one, drinks way too pricey and watered down. They are trying to replicate a New Orleans flare, they need to visit more restaurants in New Orleans, they did not come close. Donât waste your time. Try CheSaâs bistro & bar Chicago, 100 percent better

I was drawn to this bar because of its cute vibe online and all the glowing reviews. However, upon entering, it felt a bit less stylish than the photos suggested. Still, we decided to give it a try.
The cocktails we ordered were pricey but unfortunately just mediocreânot what we expected based on the reviews. Chrissy, our bartender, was friendly, though her enthusiasm came off as trying a little too hard. Later, it became clear why. Apparently, they offer a free shot of your choice in exchange for writing a good review.
While I didn't want to turn down a free drink, the practice feels deceptive. It made me question how many of the glowing reviews are actually genuine. Without this tactic, I might have given the place 3.5 or 4 stars for the experience, but this approach left a bad taste in my mouth and I give it a 2 ( it might be a bit harsh but I'm a bit frustrated)
To whoever owns this place: if you need to incentivize reviews, something isn't adding up. Chrissy was lovely, but this gimmick is not a good look.
