Just went here (no one wants to make a salad at 3pm, but alas I am a customer).
Asked for extra goat cheese on my salad and the employee gave me two half scoops instead of two full scoops. I asked for more since I knew I was going to be charged extra, but they didn’t put more on. So I paid extra and didn’t get extra. Skimpy skimpy.
Then I asked if I could pay in cash they said yes, but they would have to get a manager. I said okay! Then was just stared out. Yes, please go get the manager. They were back 3 seconds later. Just felt very apparent they wanted the transaction to be over with so they could get back to what they were doing.
Also tried charged me for a drink that I didn’t even pick up!?? Logan Square sweetgreen isn’t good. Andersonville is the best sweetgreen.

We ordered sweet green take out from this location and are honestly considering action other than just reviewing, because there was something that can only be described as glass, in my “garlic steak bowl” and I CHIPPED A TOOTH!!!!!! A molar!!! Not only that, the food was totally inedible, the steak was hard & cold and had clearly been sitting out all day so I decided not to eat it and had moved it off to the side (we paid $20 for this BTW). I continued to eat the veggies and rice and that’s when the tooth incident happened. I am so upset, if I have to have this tooth repaired I will be seeking compensation.

Ordered two bowls for delivery. Only received one. Tried to call to see if the other bowl was still there, but it's an endless phonetree. Impossible to talk to anyone.

I really do love sweetgreen, I love the concept and the healthy vibes. I go here often food because it’s a healthier option compared to other this places. Unfortunately what you get isn’t really worth the price. As many times as I’ve gone, there has always been an equal issue with the greens. If you ever look in your plate, you will see that there is a bunch of wilted dead pieces of romaine in your bowl and they don’t have the decency to remove those wilted pieces. If I’m paying 15-16 sometimes $20 for a salad I want it to be top-notch and I want my greens to be fresh and not wilted. You guys really need to do a better job of quality control and making sure that everything is fresh and new because in my experience it hasn’t been that way not since you first opened. I hate giving such a low score because I actually like this place because it’s a healthy option, but as I stated the cost does not match the quality of food that you’re getting which is sad.

On the second bite of my salad, I chewed something with a gritty texture. I thought it was just the chips being hard. I didn’t want to jump to conclusions, so I took two more bites, and on the third, I bit into something even bigger with a strange texture—I’m not sure if it was bone, glass, or stone, I just know it was black with some transparent parts. I started looking through the salad to see if there was more. I found a two-centimeter-long hair. At this point, there was no need to keep looking, and I stopped eating. I don’t usually write reviews, but this was too much. I’m not sure if they’re properly cleaning the vegetables. The quality of the salad was terrible and dirty. I just hope I don’t get sick.

My salad was delicious. It was a nice hearty and healthy meal. The service was great! The nice young man who helped us answered our questions and gave us samples.

Employees just ignore you when you’re picking up food.
*edit: I don’t know if they saw my review but they’ve been on it recently. I’ve been greeted every time I’ve visited. I understand sometimes they’re busy and can’t get to me right away but just knowing they’re aware that I’m there to pickup my food goes a long way.

Disappointed to see my DoorDash bowl that I paid $26 for had a combined total of 5 small pieces of meat (chicken AND STEAK)

There is something very wrong with the quality control at this location.
I love SweetGreen and heave eaten at the Bucktown and North Ave locations for years. This one Logan Square location is nothing like the other two. Everything I’ve ever ordered here has something off with it.
This last Harvest Bowl that prompted this order has weird viscous dressing and clumps hard old rice. I’ve had grey steak, unwashed greens, and various dressing issues here. To put it simply, nothing is ever 100% right about any meal I’ve gotten here.
Corporate needs to investigate what’s going on here because it’s really bad.

They will serve you old food and will not refund you, even if you notice immediately. They effectively have no refund policy - once you order, your payment is absolute and they do not negotiate. Unconscionable fake 'refund' policy is useless to the consumer. Totally unfair dealing. Shop local instead!

I just wanted to give a review for the young man that took my order this evening 5/7/25. He was very friendly and patient with me. I didn't know what I wanted to order and he told me to take my time and was engaging the entire time. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but he took my order around 7ish tonight. He definitely should be praised for being such a great person. It's not often that you get good and friendly service now days.

I came here to leave a review and noticed the negative comments about this location — I’m going to add another one. I love Sweetgreen and have had great experiences at other locations, but not at this one. Today, the service here was terrible!
My wife and I came for lunch on a Sunday, as we sometimes do. Today, the employee who helped us had a really bad attitude while I was placing my order. My wife began ordering her bowl and was asked about modifications. When I mentioned that we usually provide those as the ingredients are added, the employee rolled her eyes and looked visibly annoyed.
I was still deciding on my bowl and asked her to start with my wife’s order. She refused and said she’d wait — with attitude. What’s the rush? We’re paying good money for our meals, and we expect a little patience and decent customer service.
According to the receipt, the employee was Ashley, a young woman. If she doesn’t have the patience to work with customers, she probably shouldn’t be in a customer-facing role. If you’re having a bad day, don’t take it out on the customers or bring it to work.

Food was just okay. Customer Service, on the other hand, is not so great. Walked in and was ignored. Came close to walking out. Paid and was about to ask for a bag, but the cashier was already gone, in the back hanging out with other employees...
