I want to thank the entire team for really making my son's birthday dinner so great! He was so happy and I'm never disappointed with the level of service I always get here.

I had a lovely meal, it was very busy but from the start I was greeted by several people so friendly, my server was the best so nice and helpful. The food was amazing everything we had was amazing it has one of the better menus I have seen so many options. I will definitely come back wonderful dinner .

This was my second visit in a little over a year. The food was still excellent and the service was top notch! You must try the double stuffed potato. It is out of this world. The steak was so tender I put in little effort to cut it.

Delicious food and drinks, lovely experience and the staff were very attentive to the fact that we were celebrating our anniversary.

Swift & Son's service is always top notch. They do an excellent job recognizing birthdays as well. When it was mine, multiple members of the staff personally wished me happy birthday, they shared a hand-written note their team had all signed and topped it off with a small treat and candle at the end of dinner. I will also share that while this place may not seem like an ideal spot for children, they have always been super great with our toddler - giving her little treats and extra attention whenever she joins us for dinner. Once my three-year-old asked the server for a ring (no reason... she was just being three) and their staff made her one out of supplies they had in the back office. We were impressed to say the least. Good food, great drinks, impeccable service... every time! I never write reviews but felt I had to after multiple positive experiences there.

Everything about our visit was perfect! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was full of flavor. The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the staff went above and beyond to make our anniversary feel special. They even surprised us with a personalized anniversary menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food and exceptional service!

The food was great and consistent from previous visits. We were a family of 4. The server was great at the start and very friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. However once we placed our order all service stopped. I don't blame the server as it got busy and I believe they were understaffed. I was at a chain restaurant the night before and the service I received there was as above and beyond what I experienced tonight. Our entire bill for food including tip at this chain restaurant was below what I was expected just to tip here at Swift. We came here to celebrate a special anniversary and were extremely disappointed at how we were neglected. We ordered 4 appetizers, the ribeye steak, 2 sides, 3 alcoholic drinks, 2 NA drinks, 2 lemonades and 2 pops. Was planning to order to desserts but could not get anyone to get us a dessert menu and decided to call it a night.

Swift & Sons delivers a refined dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a warm welcome from the moment you walk in. The hostess greeted us with a friendly smile, setting the tone for a great evening. We started with a fresh Caesar salad and a vibrant tuna crudo—both beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly to the temperature requested, showcasing the kitchen's precision and consistency. Cocktails were another highlight, well-crafted and balanced, complementing the meal without overpowering it. Service throughout the night was attentive and professional, matching the atmosphere you'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. The only area that fell short was the booth seating. Even though we were among the first guests as the restaurant opened, there were crumbs left on the seats. For a place as elevated as Swift & Sons, attention to these small details is important and should be addressed after each seating.

We came here for our anniversary and they were top notch. They printed out menus with Happy Anniversary and made a card and signed it. I could give more star I would. Drinks were fabulous. We got the pierogi and the rock shrimp. The pierogi we as good as my Grandma's the rock shrimp were a sweet ansspicy explosion on the tongue. The steaks we perfectly chard on the outside and a perfect medium on the inside. When I say I have a slight obsession with creamed spinach that would be an understatement and theirs did not disappoint. Will be back and recommend this place.

Traditional American steakhouse. The salad was not terribly inspired, but some of the small bites and the steak were excellent.

I had high expectations for Swift & Sons given all the hype, but my experience fell short. The steak — which should be the star of the show — came out burnt and overcooked, which really took away from what could have been a great meal. Service was also disappointingly slow; it felt like we were waiting far too long between courses and drink refills.

We sat on the patio, and the tables felt cheap and out of place for a restaurant that markets itself as upscale. For the price point, I expected a much better overall experience. There are definitely a lot better steakhouses in Chicago that deliver both in food quality and service

I hadn't been back in a couple of years and decided to pop in for some quick takeaway two weeks ago. It was so bad that I had to write a review. We ordered two burgers to go and I dont like far so whilst the food was still hot when we got home, it was absolutely disappointing. I ordered a medium rare and my partner a medium burger. Both were well past dead, resuscitated and then battered to death yet again. The burger was dry, tasteless and the aioli we were given was barely a teaspoon in each 2 oz soufflé cup.
Terrible food, however, honourable mention: The host was lovely, he kept us engaged and entertained as we waited for our food,, but the food, truly terrible!

We celebrated our son's birthday at Swift & Sons, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The team went above and beyond with a personalized menu that made the evening feel so special. The service was impeccable—warm, attentive, and thoughtful without being intrusive. The food was phenomenal, especially the Beef Wellington, which was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredible. Swift & Sons made our celebration truly memorable, and we can't recommend them highly enough for any special occasion—or just a wonderful night out.

The steaks here are always good, but I really love all the options that can be added, like the blue cheese crust and oxtail marmalade. My other favorite thing this restaurant offers is the dessert cart.

The food at Swift and Sons was outstanding. We had the Wagyu sampler and 2 lobsters as an accompaniment. The appetizers were delicious as well as the old-fashioned. The service we received was top shelf. This is not a value restaurant. It is fine dining so be prepared.
