First of all, I want to commend the staff at Swift and Sons for reaching out regarding our reservation. Once they knew it was our anniversary, it felt like they rolled the red carpet out for us. A card, signed from multiple staff members, was at our table. Every waiter who came to the table to either provide water, bread, drinks , food all wished us a happy anniversary. I can not express enough how thankful I am for this experience and how warm and loved it made my wife feel, that was the best and I thank you for that. Food was superb, the salmon with side Mac and filet mignon with double baked potato was 10/10. I only wish I had more room for dessert. We were even gifted a small box with a cake inside on a plate that once again acknowledged our anniversary. My wife loves little details like this I can got a lot of credit for choosing this restaurant but I didn't know it would be this wonderful. Thank you Swift and Sons.

Diego was attentive and a true professional. Rock shrimp amazing. Stuffed chicken surprisingly delicious. Thought it would have been just chicken but this was special. Great old fashion for cocktail

The dessert was awful. We ordered the vanilla panna cotta and we couldn't finish it. Horrible dessert. Overall food will rate it 7/10. Wouldn't necessarily come back here again.

The lobster bisque and French onion soup are very good. The Caesar salad skirt steak and shrimp were also very good. I was kind of disappointed in the crabcakes because that is the main reason I always come back because I love the crabcakes, but something was done differently to them there was some type of red sauce around the crab cake, which I did not care for it just wasn't quite the same other than that. Everything else was wonderful.

Beautiful space. But our table was not ready for 30 mins after the reservation time and we were 10 mins early. No comp of food or drink. That put a damper on the rest of the night. Noise level was SUPER LOUD for a Tuesday. Food was great. Drinks were on point (but no Malbec wines despite an extensive list - go figure. Not a place for a date night. Lots of business folks (and tons of folks with back packs). Disappointed there was not more of a dress code. Lot of guys looked like slobs and wearing shorts and t shirts. For what they charge for a steak, you would think there would be a higher level of expectation of how people dress.

We were excited to try this Chicago mainstay for the first time last night (Monday). The valet was courteous and the staff promptly greeted and seated our party of 7. The dining area is nicely appointed with ample room between the tables. Drinks appeared quickly, waters a little more slowly. And the tiny overly salted bread rolls with overly salted butter were last up and not worth eating. High marks for the creamed corn side dish. Average marks for my 22 ounce slightly overcooked ribeye (not medium rare) and the twice baked potato. Failing grade for the watery anchovy and garlic steak sauce: $7 additional charge. And an A plus for the cheesecake desert with red raspberry sorbet. Other members of our party had the hanger steak/steak frites and said it was flavorful but tough/too chewy. All of this might have resulted in 31/2 stars...but what pushed the rating down was the endless noise of a magician/card trick performer at the next table entertaining - while shouting at - that large group of diners who paid for the privilege. We had to suffer it. Caution: these performers can appear without prior notice Tuesday- Saturday anywhere in the room and might ruin your conversation. Sunday and Monday are supposed to be entertainer- free but alas by special request they might show up.

This is my 3rd annual birthday visit to Swift and Sons with one of my best friends, and it never disappoints! But tonight might have been my favorite!! Still a destination for special occasions! The food, the service, the atmosphere!! And maybe the best NY Strip I've had!! See you next June!!

Shocked on how well our night went. To start a two level bar with the best Old Fashions I've had. The booth was great with a card & menu that displayed our purpose of celebrating which was our 1 month wedding anniversary. Our food was outstanding and prior to leaving we were planning our next visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Swift and Sons experience. Made reservations for Hub's birthday dinner and we both loved it. Great and thoughtful service, great food (we both had the home in filet). The mashed potatoes were delicious. Finished with the hot cookie desert. Amazing!

Came here after reading some strong reviews and felt we had an overall good meal. The ambiance of the restaurant is moody and sleek, art deco style. The service is attentive, but could use some improvements (eg., spilled water while pouring, server was too busy taking new orders from neighbors while my steak cools down waiting for pepper). Food is well done. The rock shrimp appetizer is very tasty. The beef Wellington also well made, with proper temperature and still crusty pastry. Cocktails are well balanced. Not sure the magic show bit is necessary, but maybe it is fun for some.

Looking for a great dining experience, then Swift and Sons is perfect. They've wait staff is professional and the service was attentive without being too much. Menu has lots of choices. We started with Compari and Soda and a dozen oysters - fresh and tasty. Caesar salads followed with a complimentary bread service-nice touch. Entrees with filets and Alaskan halibut- both cooked exactly look y right. We had a very nice bottle of Merlot with dinner. Ice cream, panda cotta and coffee ended dinner. It was a perfect meal.

We reserved a bar table because that was all I could book on OT. We were seated and then no one came to the table for a good period of time. We alerted a staff person who got the manager and it was addressed right away. Our server, Candy ( I think that was her name) was AMAZING! She definitely made up for the start of our experience. The food was pricey, but delicious and what is expected at a steak house. Would recommend!
