This location always has the friendliest staff and they have a lot to deal with being primarily tourists / transients. I’m a local and they are always interacting with guests and trying to put a smile on their face. They do get busy so highly recommend ordering ahead and picking up as it does take a bit of time to get food. There’s not a lot of quick takeaway spots in the neighborhood, particularly after 8-9pm.
The Taco Bell at Address: 205 E Ohio St, Chicago, IL 60611, doesn't allow customers to use the bathroom. This is unsanitary to not allow customers to at least wash their hands before eating. It is also a violation Chicago's requirements for customer bathrooms in restaurants.
I was here late night on 10/26/24. The order took a long time, but I have to give a ton of credit to the team working. Despite a gaggle of delivery drivers standing over them pointing at their phones, the team had their heads down putting out orders. They stayed patient while the customers did not and continued to make and serve orders placed prior to closing long after closing. And the food tasted like Taco Bell, just like I hoped.
