Location location location!! This place has an amazing view and an amazing vibe. The food is just ok but I guess for the price and location is kind of worth it 🙃
The food is not bad but honestly it needs more seasoning. They definitely can fixed that.

What a joke. Total waste of money. $20 for a “burrito bowl” that has no correct price displayed on board and that doesn’t even have a rice.

Stop ripping people off. Have some shame.

Not to mention it tastes disgusting as well.

I used to walk by and grab food
And a frozen drink once a week or so. Because I live close by and walk my dog by it every day. This year not only did the food change (and does not taste as good as it once did) but the prices went up AND there is a surprise surcharge automatically added at the end. So an 18 pina colata now costs 25 dollars with all the fees and it was not even that good. The drunken bean is right around the corner with a better pina colada for 11 dollars, same size.

They are going to lose regular business and customers quickly if they dont reassess quality, inflated prices and hidden charges.

We used Taco Rio to host our wedding weekend Welcome Drinks back in August. The team, especially Bondi and Asher, were awesome hosts. The process of booking our night and setting up our food / tab was easy, and the day of they were SO on top of it. They gave us an amazing amount of space, were incredibly attentive to all of our guests and especially us as the bride and groom, and overall put on a awesome, stress free evening that all of our guests were raving about all weekend long. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect summer spot, and would highly recommend if you are looking for a casual yet beautiful spot for your next get together!

Must visit in Chicago by the river! Taco Rio has great ambiance, fun staff, excellent service and delicious food! Not my first time here, and now they opened a burger joint next door and it was amazing! Favorite cocktail is the Paloma. The carnitas and Pastor tacos mmm mmm. And don’t go without trying their burger. Délicieux !

Great music, food and service! The Al Pastor and Asada tacos are 🔥 and the spicy/mild sauces compliment them perfectly.

We ordered 1 cheese quesadilla (no meat), 1 order of chips and guac, and 2 regular sized drinks and our total before tip was $83 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 maybe I’m just not used to Chicago prices but that felt like robbery. Otherwise, we had an excellent time. The drinks are wayyyyyyy stronger than we expected, and we only needed 1 to vomit excessively. Crazy times bruh. The cheese to tortilla ratio was 3:1 which was awesome because we could dip our chips into the cheese AND the guac. Overall quite yum and really nice location, beautiful vibes. Chips were ok and since we were drunk they were great

830pm tonight. 65 out. Gent with dreads tried to take my food. I let him know i was still enjoying as my plate and cup were still 75% full. Then he stared and asked for the tray it came on? I spent over $50 on 3 tacos, a elote, and 1 glass of wine. Can I enjoy it? To finish my meal after taking the tray is just a weird feeling and not hospitality.

Expensive! Our small group of three had a pitcher of margarita and chips salsa. Total of almost $100. Automatic service charge of 15% and of course then the credit card machine asks if you'd like to leave a tip on top of that. Partial service, not full. Music a bit too loud. Water dispenser refill was slow even though they're was plenty of staff there.
At least the chips were crunchy even though the salsa was mediocre at best
