This place is pretty bad. Went once to get a strawberry milk tea and it came out gray and watery. Went last night to get a mango milk tea and it tasted like cotton candy (literally no mango flavor). I had my partner taste it and they confirmed the mango tea tastes like cotton candy. Never going again.

I have been going to this place for two years, the food and atmosphere are normally pretty great. But last night just killed it for me.

My boyfriend and I were trying to have a nice date and a group of homeless people walked in and were just going table to table asking for money and items. One was crying, making a whole scene and twice they came up to our table asking for stuff and when we turned them down the second time the person just said a rude comment under her breath. When I go out to eat, I want to enjoy my meal not get accosted. It’s obnoxious that none of the staff members did anything, to have them leave to stop harassing customers. They were busy with orders, but I can’t see how they would not have noticed all of the homeless people. One of the homeless even sat down at another customers table and started ranting to them. In the end we just put our food in boxes and left because it ruined our meal experience. Overall i am disappointed with the experience and I doubt I’ll be going back.

Really good food. Great for when you know you need to up your healthy food consumption but also want some delicious food & sauces. Not expensive. I love the seating. Employees are always nice. Excellent value. Also, I am allergic to sesame and miss traditional sushi and this is an amazing substitute.

Used to be our favorite poke place, but lately has been greatly reducing the portions. Bowls used to come filled with rice and other ingredients, now we're lucky to get one full scoop of rice.

Employee at register treated me like an idiot when I asked some questions about menu items. I won’t be back. Too bad because I love the variety they offer.

Gross and over priced ordered a watermelon smoothie and strawberry milk tea. Both looked and tasted like a pepto bsmol milkshake. So mad I spent $25 here doesn’t taste like any bubble tea I’ve had literally anywhere else in the city in the worse way possible.

Located on the corner of Sheridan and Pratt, Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen, and Poke Bowl boasts a great atmosphere with its big bay windows that offer a pleasant dining experience. However, while the setting may be inviting, the food and service may leave much to be desired. The ramen broth gives off the impression of being premade and lacks the freshness and quality expected in a traditional ramen dish. Additionally, the noodles were noted to be undercooked, detracting from the overall taste and texture of the meal. It appears that Taichi may be capitalizing on current food trends without fully delivering on the authenticity and flavor that customers seek. For those in search of authentic and delicious ramen in Chicago, there are likely better options available, such as Friends Ramen. Overall, while Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen, and Poke Bowl may offer a trendy dining experience, it falls short in terms of food quality and execution.
