The pineapple jalapeno margarita was perfection. The al pastor and cochinita pibil tacos were amazing. The homemade salsa was incredible. I really loved our dinner here. Service was excellent as well.

I do not write reviews, but I wish I was warned. Great atmosphere and service, staff was friendly and great. But I’m not going for the atmosphere, I’m going to eat. Waste of money, everything was way overpriced. Paid $75 for four tacos. 2 were carne asada that only had two of the smallest pieces of meat. These tacos wouldn’t even fill my child up. The flavor was not even there. I really can not recommend this at all.

So, we dined here on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered tacos, guacamole, and queso. The food tasted very good, but the portion size was very small for the price. I understand that it's presented as street tacos, but the size has decreased from when they first opened.

The restaurant is comfortable and very open. However, the music soooo loud that I could hear the person sitting next to me. It was Saturday afternoon, and I thought I needed my hand stamped to be there! The table of cackling people added to a high level of sound, and I couldn't wait to get out of there.

If I ever eat here again, it will be to go, and I won't plan on being too hungry.

Menu is very compact, focused mainly on tacos...but there was a lot of variety to be found. We had the shrimp tacos and the barbacoa (brisket) tacos. The shrimp were very light and flavorful, some fried onions provided a nice texture. The barbacoa were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and very rich. We also ordered the cilantro rice and chipotle beans, these were add-on options...those two items can also be ordered as sides so I'm assuming the add-on was just a smaller portion. Two regular classic margaritas completed the meal, and were half price for happy hour (currently Mon-Thurs 4pm-6pm). Really a nice, light dinner.

Loved coming here for friend gatherings and I saw something that looked good on their online menu so I ordered it. Waitress took it down no problem. When it came it looked different than the picture and had steak but she said they made it a little different. Check came and they charged me $22 for something I never originally ordered and said the online menu was invalid. ??? Something so simple to correct the charge wasn’t done and that’s really ridiculous. Never coming back after that experience.

Good food and excellent service. We ate inside because it was quieter than sitting next to the street. Big open windows made it very comfortable. The waitress was accommodating and attentive.

Menu is simple and creative! Food is delicious. We definitely loved the sishito peppers queso fundido! It is amazingly delicious! Margaritas are well worth! And the dancing lessons were so much fun!

This was our first time visiting Takito Street, and we were not disappointed! In fact, we were completely wowed by the creativity of the menu. As luck would have it, it was still Happy Hour when we arrived, so we started our meal with the chipotle bean dip topped with pork belly, the chips and salsa, and a couple beers. Batting a thousand so far!

Moving on to the main menu, we ordered the shrimp tacos, the queso tacos, and the wild mushroom tacos — all outstanding.

As if the exceptional food wasn’t enough, our server was just delightful, and after our meal, we had the pleasure of chatting with Mario (the owner) to learn a bit more about the genius of Chef Yanni in the kitchen. Mario even convinced us to try the salsa dancing lessons on a Friday night!

We can’t wait to go back!!

We went to Takito for happy hour on a taco Tuesday. The drinks are amazing and reasonably priced. The extra large margarita you see in the picture was only $12. Tacos are 3.95 during taco Tuesday and were full of flavor. Service was fast and friendly. Fun Ambiance!

So we went for Latin dancing night tonight. My boyfriend had 2 beers tonight then went to order a round for our group and they kicked him out because they couldn’t understand him. He wasn’t anywhere near drunk, he’s just soft spoken and the music was really loud. When they got outside they could obviously tell that he wasn’t drunk, but they doubled down and said they had no choice even though it was def their choice lol
