Had a great experience here. The food was delicious (especially loved the miso soup, tempura, and spicy tuna roll) and the staff was so wonderful. They were understanding that we were dining with kids, very attentive, friendly, and fun! Would return again! Shout out to Ray and the rest of the team!
Truth be told, I might have given a higher rating if we had not done the Omakase. It was just specialty roll after specialty roll (after the first two appetizers), and we are not specialty roll people. I imagine if we could have kept on eating we would have gotten to nigiri, but there were too many rolls. I tried to let them know we weren't into the specialty rolls by saying we don't like mayonnaise or cream cheese or spicy rolls. That did not deter them. We may have...
I hope my experience was a one off since we’ve been here in the past but today was just not good. We had a few appetizers, a kamikaze roll, a few vegetables rolls and the toro truffle roll. The toro truffle roll was a complete miss, I couldn’t believe that I spent $30 bucks for a roll that tasted spoiled.
