I’m still a teenager but ever since I was a kid I’ve loved this place. My family has been going here for around 50 years now and it has always been great. Some workers even recognize us when we come in. The vibe in here is amazing and the service is always great.
I remember coming here as a kid with my dad and now as an adult all their dishes are delicious especially the machacado with beans and rice hands down the best old fashion restaurant in Chicago pilsen area i strongly recommend it to anyone that wants breakfast or lunch
Great food. It would help if they put labels on the many dishes they make. This way, it would make it easier to choose or simply to know what a particular dish is. The dishes are delicious. The way you order is similar to highschool, the food is behind a glass and then you tell the lady behind what you want. She then prepares your meal and takes it to your table. There are no meñus that I can recall from going there 30 +years. There's parking that is shared with the grocery...
